I recently moved from Jeffersontown to Middletown and its been more convenient to use the Middletown Kroger instead of Stonybrook. No more. 8 literally just left a cart of a few things in the middle of an aisle because Im SO tired of going there and them being out of what Im looking for. And its not just due to the holiday season - Ive been shopping here since summer and ever. single. time. I wind up leaving without a few things on my list because they are out. And its always the most basic things. I guess I shouldve seen it coming the week of Thanksgiving but youd think they would make it a point to have even better stock. Im just over it. Not cool Middletown Kroger- not cool. Also its ALWAYS too busy and the parking is awful. Lots to improve on to be as good as the Kroger I used to shop at.

This being the closest kroger to where I moved I started shopping here. It is always very loud and under lit for a kroger. The shelves are very rarely stocked completly. Most disappointingly the produce I buy here always seems to spoil days faster than the rest of the town. Most of the associates if you ask them frankly will tell you that they dont enjoy working there. Not that I would either with the management making regular announcements telling them things like how they need to be doing thier jobs.

Great deli selection - they have really good lunches that you can which are relatively inexpensive; including a selection of in-house made sushi. My only complaint with this Kroger isnt actually the fault of Kroger, its that of its customers. Every time I visit there are carts strewn about the parking lot, including carts just sitting in parking spaces less than 5 feet from a corral. How lazy do you have to be to not walk the extra 5 feet in order to put a cart inside of a corral?

6PM on a weeknight and they had two human powered checklanes open. Wrong planet. On Earth, EVERYONE stops at the grocery store for something after work. Get a clue. While youre doing that, Ill drive the extra few miles to Meijer. Ill go back to this store for lighter fluid and charcoal when theres a frost warning issued for Hell.

Place was a mess. They are "expanding" again, but things are a mess. Nothing is where it should be. Holes on the shelves. Racks block the aisles. The store cant expand until the Indian restaurant moves out and its still there. Needs better management regarding the staging of product during the expansion.

I really wish they would get the place organized, and leave it alone, its like every few months theyre moving stuff around. Its our home Kroger and we like going there. But lately its been frustrating, theyre catering to the shop from home folks and inconveniencing, the rest of us. Like we dont matter.

Very clean, huge selection including good already made food. This is one of the nicest groceries in town. Good lighting, helpful staff. The pharmacy has been top notch. They could use more lanes, but that is really a function of their success in making their customers happy.

Parking can be a pain here, but the Kroger is nice, especially if you are doing a full round of shopping. Its large - one of the biggest I have been to. Plenty of good options, although their organic fruit choices could be better.

Kroger is a fine grocery store. Deli is solid, bakery is helpful and supplied, produce, meat, seafood and a Starbucks! This location needs to have more checkout lanes at peak times. It can be difficult to exit, at times.

Everything has been scrambled again. Please know this only makes your customers angry as it takes longer to shop. Took me half an hour longer to shop. When I dont find items on my list . . . I leave without them!!!!!
