Where do I begin! I didnt even have the chance to shop before experiencing an issue. As my mother and I entered the store, I overheard on one of the employees walkie talkie that "two women are headed towards the back" referring to me and my mother. So, I turned right back around, and as we were leaving, I heard again on the walkie talkie, "the two women are leaving" and I see a young White girl walking quickly towards the front, but no one approached us . Yes, we are two Black women shopping, but I did not appreciate the simple fact that we possibly were looked at as a "threat". I do not feel comfortable being labeled simply because we are Black because that is how so many issues arise because of a persons assumptions. Especially this day and age, it is not wise because it is a problem that could turn out for the worse, when we are innocent and have no reason to steal that cheap junk. With that being said, I will not be returning to this store and I will be sure to tell others the same.
