The staff here are what really makes this place shine. The owner, Marty, and his assistant Lily are wholly-versed in knowledge of their products and place enormous care in each customers purchase and experience. It will become obvious to you from your time at Middle Tennessee Jewelry that Marty and Lily put their whole hearts into the work they do. Marty went absolutely above and beyond to assist me in purchasing my now-wifes engagement ring and wedding band and I will be forever grateful for the wholehearted craftsmanship and service that was offered to me here. I am a college student in the area and desperately needed the links taken out of a new watch in preparation for a job interview. After reading several reviews, including a negative one, it was clear to me that this was the jewelry store I needed to head towards. The owner makes a personal effort to be aware of all customers needs and responds to all comments and reviews in a courteous manor. I was happy to see someone who takes such care in his work and in his customers. My watch looks great and it took less than fifteen minutes! Needed a battery replaced in a pocket watch and was traveling through Cookeville. After reading the reviews, decided this would be a good place to stop and I am glad I did. Very friendly staff and they know what they are doing. Replacing a battery is not rocket science but I could not figure out how to get the case opened. After handing it over, within a matter of moments, they had the watch opened, battery replaced, and they even cleaned it while it was going back together. That is great attention to detail. Am glad to add my rating to the previous high score reviews.

New to the area and was recommended to Mr. Perkins Great extremely fast service had a new never worn diamond ring sized in a matter of a few hours ring came back clean and with more shine then when I bought it! The man knows his stuff and doesnt rip you off like the big name places none of that sending your valuables off to some unknown place and waiting days to get them back fast, honest and friendly to boot what more could you ask for in a jeweler!

Stopped in just to get rid of an old ring and got a better price out of it than expected. Lillian asked about the ring I was wearing, which is my grandmothers most cherished piece of jewelry from the late 20s. I let her polish it up and it has never been more beautiful! The entire staff was friendly and helpful. They were also having a huge sale on some beautiful pieces. Ill be back to do some shopping for the holidays very soon!

I took a pure gold pendant in to be cleaned and he gave it back to me clean but with a chunk taken out of the ring that the necklace slips through. If I had taken a picture first I would have called him out on it but instead I had to pay $15 to get it filled in.
