My need for a water heater seal ring began my Westside Wholesale experience. They offered same day shipping (emblazoned on every page) and the shipping was less exorbitant. Free shipping was offered when certain requirements were met. Since we would soon need sinks, and the prices and varieties were comparable, we ordered sinks also. All items were listed as in stock. We paid through Amazon. We received an e-mail from Amazon confirming that we had initiated payment to Westside Wholesale. We received nothing from Westside Wholesale. After waiting 10 days for sinks and seal ring to arrive, and receiving NO communication from Westside Wholesale, I called. I feared our order had not been received or that I had bit on some scam. A reassuring lady apologized and explained. One sink would not ship until February and the manufacturer would not ship either until then. The seal ring was back ordered for 2-3 weeks but would ship before the sinks. She would send an e-mail confirmation for the seal ring and would see if she could get the manufacturer to send appropriate information about the sinks. I received a notice of backorder for the seal ring. it said 4-6 weeks. ? Nothing more. Id have cancelled everything then but for her attitude and demeanour. Some weeks later a review of my credit card revealed that the full amount of my order had been paid to Westside Wholesale ON THE DAY I ORDERED. Scam was the word that ran through my head. As I searched for the number; to call, cancel, and demand my money back; I had an e-mail saying the sinks had Just Shipped. I called anyway. On ring number 10 someone answered. I explained my issues: misrepresentation, no communication, and the prepay. I was unhappy with the service. She informed me they had done nothing wrong. She didnt know what my problem was. They had sent a confirmation (the Amazon payment initiation notice - with the $ amount and nothing more?) and they had updated me about the backorder (after I called?) and I had the sinks Now (they had JUST SHIPPED!), so what was I griping about? The second person I spoke with was more polite but said the same things, adding that Amazon charged the day of order. Not them. Otherwise he didnt know what my problem was either. All they had to do was what the first lady did - apologize and explain. As it is I now have to find a way to not think of this experience every time I look at the sink. Oh, yes, the water heater seal ring that started it all? Its backordered. Still. Until at LEAST May. He recommended I cancel. I did. They charged me $.11 for restocking on a $3.75 piece they never had and may never have again.

I called this company on 9/1/2016 because they had a great deal on 30 Carbon Monoxide Detectors. The staff, when I called the 1st time, was helpful in guiding me through ordering the right product online. I asked how long it would take to get them and they let me know that the ship date to me would be the 9th-12th of September, it was longer than I wanted to wait but worth it for the price. I let them know that I needed them ASAP and to please make a note of that and they said they did. When the 13th rolled around I called to check on the shipment and spoke with Nikki who told me at that time that they hadnt received them and that they now wouldnt be getting them until the end of the next week. I asked her when they found out that they wouldnt be getting them in on time, she said the week prior. I was upset as no one had called me or sent an email to let me know about the delay. I was only met with attitude so I asked to speak to a manager. She said that he wasnt here yet and that she would take my info and he would call me back. I waited until today 9/15 to call, as I never received a call back, and was directed to Tom. After being on hold for 10 minutes, I told Tom that I was upset that we were not informed of the delay because this is a time sensitive issue. He pointed out that in the confirmation email that it says approximate shipping date, and that it was actually the date that the product would be shipped to them not me. So I asked him when I would be getting my order and he then "estimated approximately" September 30th. I reiterated that I was upset about not being contacted and kept in the loop about my order, especially since I had expressed the need for expedition in this situation. I let him know that his cavalier attitude about the inconvenience it caused was poor customer service and that I would be leaving a review. He then responded saying "Well I am sorry if the word approximate is confusing and hard for you to understand." At which time I asked for a refund of my money. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE- I did not talk over anybody until Tom spoke rudely to me and basically called me stupid. Please upload the recording and we can see. Either way your company GIVES BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The only reason this company gets 1 star from me is because YOU CANT POST WITHOUT HITTING ONE STAR! They deserve NOTHING! I wish I had read all the negative reviews on this nasty company before I bought from them! Let me say it plainly for you who are wise enough to check the reviews before you buy ... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are total RIP-OFF ARTISTS! I ordered 2 simple plate covers for a light switch ... ones that I cant get locally. Well, they only sent me one. So when I called, the dude said they cant send me another one. Long story short ... I ended up talking to the supervisor and he was a piece of work! He implied that I had was trying to steal from them and that I wanted them to send me something for free! NO YOU LOSER ... I ALREADY PAID FOR IT! I hope this company goes out of business FAST! And I hope the owner of the company goes BANKRUPT! AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL!!

I made a purchase On Jan 20, 2017 with an expected dated tos hip on January 26, 2017 and to be delivered by January 31, 2017. Its now February 2, 2017.... no emails since the day I made the order. I called customer service (the rep herself was very unfriendly and no apologies and with a very defensive undertone when I was never rude and just asked about the situation). She quickly looked into my order and said "Didnt you get the backorder email" with an attitude. No I didnt. Not only that, but you expect people to wait for about 6-8 weeks for the item to be shipped to you without letting customers know? I said I couldnt wait (Carbon Monoxide Alarms) another 4-6 weeks to get it! ON TOP OF IT ALL....THEY CHARGE YOU THE DAY YOU ORDER BUT HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF FULFILLING ORDERS TILL WHO KNOWS WHEN THEY WILL ACTUALLY SHIP IT (MAYBE NEVER!)

Poor customer service and inaccurate product information. I purchased a Dreamline neo-angle glass enclosure & door unit from WW. I was told that the SHEN4040 unit was the appropriate unit to order for a 40x40 base. Turns out that Dreamline specifies a SHEN3838 enclosure be ordered for the 40x40 base. Westside refused to make an exchange and would not even honor the original promotional sale pricing from when the unit was originally purchased. Dreamline told me that their distributors are told that shower enclosures have to be ordered 2" smaller than the base. In fact, HomeDepot provides that information on their website for this product. I ended up ordering another Dreamline unit in the correct dimensions from Amazon for $150 less than what WESTSIDE WHOLE was going to charge for fixing their mistake.
