TO THE OWNER AND POSSIBLE PATRONS: LONG TERM FRIEND NOW FOE! Lets talk about my last 2 visits out of at least 30 over the last six months. The comfy cow is a delicious treat, at the same time a very expensive one relative to other ice cream establishments. Thats obviously not a concern or gripe of mine or I wouldnt have visited 30 times in the past six months. My issue the last two visits is the quality of service and staff which hasnt been an issue until recently. This past visit I stood at the counter no less than five minutes before I saw any employee. Then I see this Asian girl peek her head out of the backroom/kitchen area only to close it. Then a couple minutes later her and her Co worker came out. The inventory at this location is severely depleted for one reason or another. So I went to the cooler, the advertisement reads buy 2- $6.99 pints get a square pint free. So I picked up two pints and went to the counter to ring out. The Asian girl stared at me with the look of confusion and the look of a person that smokes way too much Marijuana. She blankly says "Just the pint?" I replied, "no Im getting two and whats the deal on the cooler door for a free sq pint?" Then comes the Co worker who this and last visit was the rudest person to have ever served me here. She has glasses and curly hair. She says" I dont know why they have that special on the door because we dont have any sq pints." I said so do I get raincheck or.......? She barked "NO!" with a look that im an ass for asking aboit what seemed to be a special they had. So I returned one of the two pints to the cooler. I went back to the counter to check out. I asked the Asian girl, who was somewhere in outer space, when inventory would be back to normal. The reply............., nothing an awkward stare and silence. Then the curly hair girl with glasses blurts out, "I dont know when its not my job to know." All I have to say is that this is the first time Ive ever posted a review on Google. I will also say that customer service and cash flow are the lifebloods of any business. I own my own company and am a regional Manager for 2 others. That being said....... On average I spend $20 plus each visit for ice cream. Im fine with that because its a nice atmosphere and tasty. These past two experiences for me have been unacceptable. TO THE OWNER, I WILL NOT VISIT YOUR STORE EVER AGAIN, IVE SPENT 100S THERE MANY TIMES OVER AND YOUR STAFF HAS CAUSED ME TO BOYCOTT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. IF ANY OF MY EMPLOYEES GET A SNIFF OF BAD PR, THEY ARE GONE. NOT GONNA OFFER ANY ADVICE, JUST SAYING TO CHARGE SUCH A PREMIUM FOR A TREAT, THE WHOLE MODEL SHOULD BE PERFECT AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THOSE TWO GIRLS STINK. MY VISIT WAS SUNDAY MARCH 12 at 7:30 or so.

My experience here was terrible. I was here about 2 weeks ago. Apparently they were on a "limited menu" due to high volumes of demand or something. Im not sure but it was limited too less than 8 flavors. I was reading the chalk bored, I thought I read "brownie batter ice cream", so I ordered it and looked at it and it was obviously something with nuts. That part was my fault the menu actually read brownie butter I read it wrong. No problem! So I told the girl who gave it to me ( her name was KAYCE I believe but she had long brown hair) I said, " Im sorry this has nuts Im allergic I thought I ordered brown batter" She said in a rude tone, " we dont have brownie batter its butter" I said "Oh ok well ill take something else because Im allergic I apologize" she took the cone and literally slammed it into the trash can, and I was shocked because I am a server and customer service matters wether you are happy or not. This girl clearly was angry. She walks swiftly to the back to grab a cone, her face is just fueled with anger, and she said, "what do you want now", and I told her vanilla please. I wasnt rude or anything seeing I knew she was upset. She then gave it to me. And I said, "Sorry didnt mean to make you super upset", then obviously she was embarrassed and said ,"Oh its ok". And that was it. But Im very displeased with this, and she wasnt the only one who was rude as a worker, I notice things right off the bat when I go to restaurants, because I worker in one. Get your staff together! If they dont like it, hire someone who actually cares and can handle people. This was terible.

A mix? What a disappointment. Here I thought they made the recipe themselves. Sysco was making a delivery out front, passing by the driver someone asked, what are you delivering, he said "Ice Cream mix". When inside the person behind the counter confirmed this and said Sysco delivers the mix for the ice cream. I was surprised as you get the impression they have their own recipe. Ice Cream from a mix reminds me of McDonalds. Dont get me wrong I like soft serve, though I was disappointed it was from a box mix. The decor is nice.

The Ice Cream is decadent and the portions are generous! Ben had their version of Key Lime pie Ice Cream as well as Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Both were flavorful and full of chunky pieces of deliciousness. I went for the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and Cake Batter Ice Creams. Peanut butter was great, cake batter was a little plain for my liking. Service was friendly and professional, and made you feel like the experience was just for you!

The best ice cream in Louisville! A lot of wonderful flavors, I especially enjoy trying some of the seasonal and special occasion flavors they come up with. They had some kind of sweet potato pie concoction around Thanksgiving that was awesome! This is also a local Louisville company owned and operated by wonderful people. They really give back to the community, so you can feel good about their business as well as their ice cream!

lets be honest..Its bland. Really it is. It was so disappointing that it prompted me to come on here and write a review. Wife had black raspberry chip and i had the Georgia butter pecan, they both literally tasted like hard cold balls of cream with a subtle undertone of flavor. Im just saying...Ive had better ice cream at McDonalds or better yet Graeters. Dont waste your time. Can i get an amen?

An ice cream place that didnt have vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry available. The site menu and the menu on the wall is not what is available. What an udder disappointment. Try a new business and hire an adult to assure your customers experience is somewhat rewarding. Wont be back. Too bad there isnt a no star option, that would be. a gratuitous review

You will not be disappointed! The ice cream is wonderful, and the staff is very friendly. They allow you to sample if you cant make up your mind. The shop has a fun atmosphere that reminds me of the cool, little ice cream shops Ive visited in the Northeast. There is ample outdoor seating on two patio areas. I highly recommend The Comfy Cow!
