Its one of the worst BME out of them all in terms of retro gaming prices. Really high prices on all games. I saw maybe one or two games that were even on par with ebay prices the rest were through the roof. There original xbox game prices were laughable. Almost all of them were 9.99. Sorry original xbox stuff doesnt have that kind of value at all. Titles like Amped and Splinter Cell should never be more than 5 bucks. Also I was disappointed in their trade in value. This one poor guy sold his Red version pokemon for 5 bucks. I really almost wanted to stop him and give him 10 bucks because he looked around the store and saw the exact same copy as his going for 25. I get a store has overhead no question about that but when he asked if that was the best they could do they could of at least shot him another dollar or two it wouldnt of hurt them especially since those games sell quickly. In the end its his choice to sell his stuff there but if you are wanting return customers giving an extra dollar isnt going to hurt them that much. Much of my review is based on the fact that the location in Evansville, Owensboro, and the one off preston highway are just better in terms of prices.

I can only discus DVDs because that is the only thing I shop for here. The selection is great. I have both purchased and traded at this location. The trade value is equal to most others... I dont think its any better or worse. When buying, it is possible that some titles are occasionally found at Walmart or Target for a couple dollars less... but sometimes not. If you are a regular buyer, it all evens out. I prefer to buy here vs. big box stores because it keeps my dollars in the local economy. The staff has always been friendly to me and helpful.

I love going here for their wide selection and good deals for buying in bulk. They pack a lot of stuff into a relatively small amount of space. The staff is very friendly. The only knock on this store is their overpriced used DVDs. Wal-Mart and Dollar General offer cheaper prices on new DVDs than BME offers on used DVDs. If they could get their DVD prices down to more competitive rates, then this store would be almost perfect.

I found this place almost by accident a few years ago, and have been hooked since. I am a reader and an old pencil & paper gamer. The selections of books are fantastic, especially since they moved, and the Preston Hwy location has had everything I have wanted for my gaming as well. When looking for a book or a book for my gaming, I go to BME first; then I go looking in the mall bookstores if they dont have it.

Best place in louisville. This place has nearly everything: action figures, movies, knifes, VHS tapes, N64 games, nes games, SNES games, Sega games, & big displays. on like game stop they dont charge you a fee to clean a game disc they have a machine there that does it. Plus they moved three doors down into a chinese food restrant. This opened up more space for more stuff.

Some of the staff at this B&M are friendly, while others are not so much. Their prices are okay, but I think they need to be a bit more reasonable on their used video games. I dont fault them too much for that, though, since they do have to compete with the Gamestop.

If you are in the neighborhood then it is an alright second-hand store for various media, althro much of it is overpriced considering its second hand, not that the first hand stuff is much better priced. Used RPGs are decently priced thro.

I like that they carry new release vinyl. Good selection on DVDS. Ive had some complaints about the staff not being very courteous and and unwilling to negotiate on offers when selling items. Id rather cross the river and go to Buybacks.

My son goes in and sells his games like normal they offered him $110 store credit and they wouldnt allow him to cash out. I am VERY disappointed with the way they were
