***my wife and I travel around the country sticking it to the man by enjoying our coffee from local coffee houses. This place is 12hours from my house and my wife says she would totally ask to go here for her birthday. There are 2 things I need to hit on: donuts & coffee. First for the coffee...my darling wife got a plain latté. It was hot, with a very deep strong flavor(kinda like her). The coffee was strong, flavorful and did the caffeine trick. If your are a foodie you will appreciate the Truvia option for sweetener as well as raw sugar. Donuts - wow! We havent had anything like these in years. They are square which is cool. When we got ours they were still warm. A dozen comes in a pizza box. The atmosphere has an old school barber shop feel; clear identity, attention to detail, and run by dudes. They whole experience was so good that I bought a coffee cup.

We stopped in bright and early back in June as we pulled into Lexington. Grabbed a dozen of mixed and cafe au latte. My family is still talking about these donuts! They are truly amazing! The texture is fuffy and the flavors are all so wonderful its hard to pick a favorite. Have to go to a wedding in Louisville in October an its worth the extra drive to go pick up some donuts! OH! I also got one of the t-shirts, which I get complains on whenever I wear it! Keep up the good work North Lime!

This coffee/donut shop is a great little place that I wish I had in my hometown. The guy who checked me out was such a nice person. On top of that, his recommendation for a drink was really good (and something that Id never tried before). Their donuts also taste really good, and I love the creativity that goes into the donuts.I cant imagine many more relaxing mornings than on their patio with a coffee and donut, especially with good friends.

These are some of my favorite donuts! The chocolate iced is probably my all time favorite, it is always so delicious and the chocolate tastes like quality stuff! They always have specials going on, a daily and monthly one. This is a great place to grab a tasty snack or breakfast. Every beverage Ive had here has been fabulous. This is my go-to place in Lexington to impress people, it always makes them want it over and over!

North Lime has the best donuts of anywhere in Lexington. They have five great varieties every day with two other specials of the day. Ive tried then all and dont disappoint. You can check out their daily specials in their Instagram account. They also make a variety of great beverages, but for me, a cup of Earl Grey with my donut really hits the spot. Its a cozy little shop. My kids love coming here as well.

The staples are delicious and the fun ways they come up with to twist the classics are fun and tasty! Stop in, and wake up! --Still love this place.

Theres another place in town for your classic doughnuts, the ones your grandparents would always have when the whole family is in town. North Lime however is quirkier and delivers flavors like Funnel Cake and Cinnamonkey. Some of the best locally roasted coffee around as well. Trivia on Thursday evenings, too!

Great new donut and coffee place on the north end of town. They also have kolaches, though the schedule on those is very sporadic. I wish the schedule for these was better as they are great, better than the donuts in my opinion. Have been here several times and plan to go back several more.

Love it! The different twists and variety of donuts available at different times. I also love the local vibe and feel. Its places like this that can revitalize an area or neighborhood. Why would you go buy corporate donuts when you can support local and eat better?!

Interesting and unique donuts, not the best thought through flavors for being tasty. I wasnt impressed with there regular donuts. The coffee is pretty good, and the atmosphere is great for both working by yourself and small group conversation.

North Lime is an awesome place. The experience of a homemade donut and locally roasted and brewed coffee is one you need to have. I dig their donut of the month and especially the maple bacon donut. It will change your life for the better.

Best donuts in town. The coffee is pretty great too. It is always packed and they often do special donuts for holidays and occasions. It maybe small but there is almost a cult following and you will soon find out why.

Their doughnuts and pastries are artisan quality. The GMO free products and the imported extra rich unprocessed cocoa makes for excellent fresh brewed coffee. A must see for any tourists in the Lexington area.

The donuts were very good. Latte and Mocha very European. My grandkids are donut fanatics. They said they really like them. They could only eat half of one. Other places they eat up to 3. I can save here.

Great service, wonderful employees but not a fan of the donuts. I got one of each. I come from a city where donut shops have great donuts and I just wasnt a huge fan of the taste. But I nice place overall

i like the mocha espressos. They feed the homeless too so that is cool. My only complaint is it is always too crowded. Leave your kids at home, its a coffee shop, not McDonalds Playland.
