Before purchasing merchandise at Furniture World I came on Google to read reviews. I was very shocked to see how people have responded to their experience at this furnture store. I had heard from a close friend that it was one of the best place to purchase furniture because of the quality, variety, and great prices. So after reading the reveiws I was skeptical to go, but did anyway just to check it out! SO GLAD I DID. Right as I walked in, I was greeted by a very proffesional salesperson who was very knowledgeable about the products in the store. As I told him I was just looking he quickly gave me a layout of the store just so I knew where I was going, because this is the largest furniture store ive ever been in! He let me walk around by myself looking at the merchandise, checking on my periodically to see if everything was alright, and if I had any questions he could answer. I ended up purchasing what I wanted from Furniture World at a GREAT price. When I checked out they told me approximately how long it will take for it to come in. 4-6 weeks later it came in, and they called me to set up my delivery time. Everything else after that went really smoothly and I am happy to report that as I am writing this review I am reclining on my new, stylish furniture that fits my personality and home perfectly! I am sorry to read the reviews about the people who havent had the best experience in this store. As for me, Im glad I made the choice to purchase from Furniture World!

DANGER!!! Paid for our sectional in full the day we went in. wasted my time delivering the wrong sectional because they ordered the wrong one, and 6 weeks later we were still being delayed and being told the shipping date was change... 4 different times ended up taking all of our money back and we will be going somewhere else. This store is an absolute joke. Our sales man was roy and he ordered the wrong sectional after we stood in the store and explained exactly how it would be going into our living room and the it needed to be the reversed version of what was in the store. even reminded them several time before and during the process of him filling out the order form. Worst purchasing experience i have ever had especially for spending over $1,000 with them, you would think they could provide better customer service.

I am having an awful experience with this store! It was my first time buying furniture and they told me I was getting a three piece entertainment center and come to find out it was only the two pieces in the price so I had to pay for the third. It came in and is two different colors, but they say that is normal. Not to mention both the doors are missing pieces. Then my boxsprings had to be delivered a week later than my mattress. I have called numerous times and nobody wants to call me back. I am currently waiting for someone to come fix my tv stand but guess what they arent here and arent answering the phone! Ugh!

I purchased a living room set (couch, chair, tables) from them back in July. All 5 pieces were delivered damaged. After repairs, 3 sets of tables, and 3 months of being blown off, and 2 complaints filed with the BBB and the FTC, I finally was able to get a refund for the tables. The other two pieces remain in my house. They are clearly flawed from the manufacturer, and wearing very poorly. DO NOT USE this retailer. Contact the BBB with any issues. They have had an unbelievable amount of complaints in the last year. They were rude, unprofessional, and dishonest.

I had purchased furniture many times in past. Never again. Bought two identical recliners (Lane) and one is defective. Took many emails and calls to Lane and store with no satisfaction. They just dont care. I would advise you not to purchase anything from FW so you dont have to be disappointed and go through the BS. Would be happy to post photos of the defects they would not cover. They are very aware of the problems. Dont be misled. I hope this post saves you the troubles. The said you get what you pay for $$. BEWARE.

I found that the sales person whom I dealt with at Furniture World was very helpful and courteous at all times. There was never any pressure while shopping and any questions that I had were answered very politely. The delivery of the items purchased was punctual and the cost was very fair. The delivery cost also included the assembly of the items in the home. If someone is looking for quality furniture at a great price, then I highly recommend Furniture World Superstore on Mt. Tabor Road off Richmond Road.

Horrible customer service !!! Decided to redo everything in our house from loving room bedrooms and kitchen. Loved their online selection so came in to purchase. No one even made eye contact with me when I came in. After walking around snd finding a few things I liked decided what I was paying for cash and what would be financed and went to two men just standing here talking one walks away and the other was the rudest Jerk ever !!!! Definitely worth going else where even if I spend 1000 more dollars !!!

I purchased several pcs of furniture on different occassions and experienced trouble. While I understand it was due to quality at the manufacturer they were NOT SUPPORTIVE AND VERY UNWILLING TO HELP RESOLVE. Management will not return phone calls and follow up is horrible on their behalf. I am buying elsewhere. WARNING*** If you experience trouble with order my suggestion is to Return immediatlely and get refund. Do not try and resolve with them.....................................

I had a great experience shopping for and buying furniture here. The salesman, Chris, was extremely helpful each time we were in there and helped us find the best furniture in our budget. Upon delivery, a drawer was broken and the delivery guys immediately called the service department to get me a replacement. Every interaction Ive had with sales, delivery, and service has been helpful and very pleasant. To top it off, we got quality furniture for a great price!

I was in the process of scheduling a delivery, and instead of politely explaining to me whatever policies they have, some woman with crunchy blonde hair decided to get an attitude with my mom and I. So, no thanks. Ill buy my first sofa elsewhere with better customer service. Also, theres zero communication between salespeople. One guy told me one thing, another guy told me another. Like I said, no thanks.

I have purchased an entire apartment full of furniture from Furniture World. I could not be happier with my experience here!! When I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted with smiling faces. After they helped me find all of the furniture I needed, my order came in in a timely manner and was assembled perfectly! I would definitely recommend coming to Furniture World!!

I have bought furniture here twice within the past year. Both times the furniture has been loose, rickety, cheap feeling the moment it came in the door. The chair I purchased three weeks ago feels like the back is coming off. I called the service department three days in a row, got a recording and left three messages and have still not gotten a return phone call.
