HORRIBLE!!! i cant even get into how horrible their service is BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. I paid $500 for white glove delivery service. No one even scheduled the delivery with me, even though they had my cell, home phone and email address. While i was at work i received a call from "NATE" the delivery man that he was 5 mins away from my house. Had to frantically make up an excuse and leave my job, when i got to my house the delivery man asked who was going to help him move the 2000 lb bar off the truck into the house and down the stairs. I told him it wasnt me and that i had paid $500 for white glove delivery service which included delivety, setup, and cleanup of all garbage.I informed him i had even spoken to BASIL HALTA OWNER OF MBW Furniture and i was guaranteed this. Well Nate just didnt know what to do since he came 3 days driving down from Georgia by himself. I called Basil Halta who could not believe the delivery company( WHICH HE CONTRACTED, NOT ME) only sent one delivery person and that it would be impossible for him to do alone. Basil Halta then asked me to pass the phone to NATE the delivery person. After they spoke on the phone, NATE informed me that he would be back within an hour and was going to look for some to help him. At this point I shouldve refused the delivery. An hour later he came back informing me that he found a man willing to help him on some corner but he only spoke Spanish and asked if i spoke spanish which i dont. The whole move of these 5 pieces took over 9 hours( IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 3 PROFESSIONAL MOVERS) In the meantime my beautiful brand new wooden floors were horribly scratched and need to be repaired because they were pushing these pieces on my wooden floor and scratching DEEPLY my wooden floors until i screamed at them, and Nate apologized saying it was the Spanish speaking mans fault because he didnt understand to lift but instead pushed??!!!?? There are holes and dents in my walls throughout the house and and my staircase is chipped because it was just way too heavy for 2 men to carry. I had to enlist a school mom to pick up my kids from school because i was trapped here and when the mom came Nate asked not only me but the school mom to help him put on the top of the bar holding 4 banisters, one of them clubbed and hit the school moms nose causing it to bleed. we though it was broken!!! I felt so horribly bad for Nate the delivery mam, he worked so hard didnt even want a sip of water i offered him. He really shouldve never been placed in that situation to move such gargantuan furniture by himself. I called Linda at customer service MBW the very next day and sent 20 pictures of damages to my home, even got a floor estimate of $500 and have been chasing BASIL HALTA FOR A MONTH. Heck, at this point i can forgive the walls and staircase damage but the correct and christian thing would be to either send someone to fix my floors or pay me so i can fix my floors. MBW is very unprofessional, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. I WANTED TO GIVE THEM NO STARS BUT THATS NOT AN OPTION!! SHAME ON YOU MBW FURNITURE!!

2011- I purchased a lingerie chest for my wife for Christmas. Its solid wood, beautifully decorated with inlaid patterns and the construction is first rate. This was an in stock item, and I plan to have at least one more piece made to match it for a future gift. The price at MBW was less than half what it would have cost me at the few other locations where I could find solid wood furniture. The shipping was also trouble free- delivered on time and with care. 2012- I decided to get jewelry chest to match the lingerie chest described above. This was not in stock- it had to be custom made. The final result is just as beautiful and well-made as the first one. This meant, naturally, that it cost more- twice as much, in fact- which I still felt was reasonable for a custom piece. My only quibble is with the process. The MBW manager was very good at keeping in touch with me. However, the manufacturer is overseas, and each time I had a question the communication path between me and the guy actually doing the work seemed to get distorted. For example, MBW would send me photos of the chest at key points for my approval, and almost every time there was a problem- either the photos didnt show enough detail for me to see what I needed to see, or there were errors in the design. These would eventually get corrected, and the process would be repeated at the next stage. Sometimes Id inquire about an option and get answers that made no sense. For example, I asked how much it would cost to line the side doors with felt, and the answer was $170- clearly way too much. There must have been a communication glitch somewhere. The process took much longer than I expected. I had wanted the chest as a Christmas gift, and placed the order in April. The chest was finally delivered in January- much longer than their original estimate, and too late for Christmas. To repeat, however, the final result exceeded my expectations. I would order a custom made product from them again, but I would order at least 9 months ahead of when I needed it. For an item already in stock, Id have no reservations at all, but I recommend talking to them to make sure you know what youre getting, of course.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I ordered a bedroom set and waited 7 months for it (2 months longer than I was told), paid in full, and then was told it would be another 8 wks till they could deliver it. When I expressed my disappointment and questioned the wait, they cancelled my order without asking me and placed it for sale on their website and on ebay for twice what I paid for it. My sales representative that originally took my order, who was very nice, was gone by the time my order arrived in Atlanta and my new sales rep was the rudest person Ive ever met. Their customer service representative was nice and tried to help me, but it seems they dont communicate with each other because she told me my order would still be processed after I told them I didnt want it cancelled. Yet when I spoke with the sales rep, he adamantly said it was cancelled and that there would be no further discussion. To top it off, I had a friend inquire about the set through their website, and the CEO himself emailed her within 24 hours and told her the set I ordered was in stock and could be shipped immediately- after they told me it would be 8 more weeks!!! The CEO would not respond to my emails or phone calls asking him why the set I had bought and waited 7 months for was cancelled and placed for sale on their site, and why I was lied to about the timeline for shipping. I gave them plenty of chances to rectify the situation and ship my my items with no response to my emails or calls except for a customer service rep who seemed to not be aware of the issues or communicate with the rest of the business. THIS IS UN UNETHICAL BUSINESS THAT ESSENTIALLY DID A "BAIT AND SWITCH" ILLEGAL DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! When I complained to the better business bureau they completely LIED and told them I said I wanted the order cancelled and that I didnt respond to the pictures they sent me- which I have copies of emails to prove that I kept asking them for pictures and they ignored me.
