Ive been shopping at Fort Thomas Florist & Greenhouses since 2004, and Ive always been a happy customer. Two things that separate this business from other businesses include 1) knowledgeable, friendly staff and 2) superior quality of plants, flowers, herbs, vegetables, shrubs and trees. The employees at Fort Thomas Florist & Greenhouses are experts, and I appreciate the fact that they will never sell me a product that they dont think will do well in the environment I describe (sun, shade, etc). I never feel rushed in their store, and their advice is always helpful. I used to buy plants at big box stores like Lowes & Home Depot, but the plants would die about 25-50% of the time (and who wants to dig up a plant to return it for the 1-year guarantee?). Fort Thomas Florist & Greenhouses plants are grown and well-cared for by skilled professionals. The assortment is outstanding -- they have everything! I drive 10 miles (from Hyde Park) and pass tons of other florists, greenhouses, plant shops and big box stores to get to Fort Thomas Florist & Greenhouses, and I recommend that you go there too.

Friendly staff, misleading order, waste of over $50. Thought I would order from here because my fiancé works at the local hospital. Went online to look at which arrangement of flowers I wanted. Called the florists 3 days early, told them the exact # on website (she even checked to see if she had a certain kind of flower), and asked to change from white lilies to yellow ones, no problems yet. Then the order was delivered, once I got home to see them I was extremely upset. The arrangement should have been MOSTLY hot pink, full size roses, with yellow, and a little green. The arrangement looked JUST green and the ONLY thing they got right was the yellow lilies! Also it had mini roses that died two days later. I will never use these people again, be warned!

Good service, quality flowers. Main reason that I order from here, however, has only to do with the fact that they always have gerbera daisies on hand. Have seen other florists with only white daisies, but Fort Thomas Florist always has multiple colors on hand and does a great job arranging with them.

Always enjoyed seeing the saplings and plants. The staffs are very friendly. Maintained well. However its little difficult to walk in between the columns, due to lack of space.

Why buy flowers from Kroger or Lowes. Goto the real deal and get some real professional help/advice. Very nice staff. And their plants/flowers look great.
