Went in to LAVA TOBACCO store to buy a Pax vaporizer a christmas gift. After a brief conversation with a "manager" he ensured me that this was a top of the line product. I purchased and brought it home only to find out that this WAS NOT a Pax vaporizer. It did have the Pax boxing and the motto on it, but missing on the device were the serial numbers to register the product. It had none if the functionality that a true Pax should have. (E.x. Shake for battery, heat adjuster ) I called the store and was told by the woman i spoke to that there were TWO companies that sold the SAME product under the SAME name which is impossible. I went back to the store and inquired about the OBVIOUS differences between the allegged product and the one they sold me. Then they told me that there was nothing they could do because they dont offer refunds. I explained that they were selling a product under false presence and explained that it was illegal for them to sell the product as a Pax if it is indeed not one. One of the associates told me that he was CERTAIN that it WAS a Pax and "thats what we buy them from our distributor as Pax and sell them as Pax" I then again informed them that it was illegal to sell a product under a company name if it is indeed not from that company. They informed me that they could neither give me info on this "supposed" other Pax business, nor a phone number to call for customer service help. Knowing that i have a counterfeit product i contacted mall security who suggested i bring it to the police.

Towne East has its good places and not as good places. There are plenty of stores in a small area, which is great! Some stores are bigger chains that you expect to see in malls, others are smaller are more unique. The mall has a Santa photo center during the holiday season and a (pretty creepy) Easter Bunny photo center during that season. The food court is somewhat limited and small. The mall features several jewelry store, a couple different shoe and athletic wear stores, and a lot of clothing stores. It also has a Build-A-Bear workshop, a Starbucks stand, an optics center (I think its a Lenscrafters), a college (or technical school) office, and a military recruitment office. Theres basically a little bit of everything. The mall extends their hours during the holiday season to accommodate extra traffic. There is generally ample parking, but we aware in the parking lot as some people dont seem to understand the general rules of the road and will cut right in front of you. Also, beware of the people in the center kiosks selling things, they can get pretty aggressive trying to get you to stop and buy their hand lotions, purses, or cell phone cases. Overall, a great mall, far superior to the one out west!

Although everyone can have a good experience at the mall, I found the staff at many of the stores very stuck up and rude. I cant stand when I go to Express or Macys and no one offers to help. The just stare as if Im out of place or cant afford to pay for their products. The kicker is not being offered help but being followed as if Im going to steal. I usually go online to avoid that type of treatment although Im an A-List status customer at these such places. I think its because Im black and tatted up. Like we all know most of the employees make about $10 if that. So how are you better than me? I laugh at the people at the kiosk selling lotion will offer everyone else lotion and refuse to look at me. I dont want your expensive low quality lotion. Its not that I cant afford it. They could probably make a sale if theyd be polite and stopped profiling. Anyways, point is, attitude is everything and you can lose service bring bougie.

Throughout my years living in Wichita I can say that this mall has been through many positive renovations and practically has everything your looking from video games to food to clothes. Great place to just hang out or shop for the latest trend. It gets crowded at times but the is very spacious so it doesnt become too much of a problem. The mall is huge and many different name brand stores. The food is well kept and the food there is not half bad either, a little pricey but will still fill you up. Workers all around are generally nice, rarely any harassing like other shop owners do and the atmosphere is chill at times. Love coming here to do a little window shopping or get my fashion updated.

This mall used to be packed, every single weekend. But from a year ago, mall managers has brought in WHACK stores into the mall; calendar store, a movie store, and a Christmas store? This mall is becoming a joke and ruining businesses because people do NOT come to the mall anymore like they used to.. The only "big mall" in Kansas and its becoming a disappointment. Oh, and this mall has more jewelry stores than named brand stores... literally 3 jewelry stores next to each other by the food court. Ridiculous. To the mall managers, a Starbucks is not going to draw in hundreds of people, theres a Starbucks right down road. Get the stores people want, not the ones that are easiest to get.

The only good stores are Victorias Secret, and Lane Bryant for their clearance rack on bras. I can have $500 and only want to spend like $100 there because they dont have good stuff in that mall. And "Nori Japan" in the food court? NOOOOOOOOOOO! DONT eat there! I got food poisoning last night (and still feeling it today) and it is HELL! I had to work all day with stabbing pains in my stomach and diarrhea. WASH YOUR HANDS EMPLOYEES! And check your food and make sure its not expired!

Do you realize how lucky Wichita is to have one of the few Beard Papas locations in the U.S.? So, enjoy it, Wichita! After eating at a restaurant, come here and have dessert!I wish everyone in town would go to Towne East and try one of their cream puffs. I get the plain cream puff with vanilla filling. The cream puff is just right, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The frappe was okay-Ive had better, and Im very picky when it comes to coffee frappes. VEGETARIAN.

Towne East certainly has more stores & is kept cleaner/nicer than Towne West but the last 3 times weve been in we have had to leave before we finished shopping because it was so hot. Today we literally left Towne East & headed to Towne West (where thankfully it was much cooler) because with my MS being stuck in a hot, stale place can aggravate my symptoms. Youve got a nice building with nice stores but its too hot for anyone to want to stick around & do any shopping!

The location is in the right spot , i think the mall should be alot bigger and more stores and bigger food court, the restaurants that are in the same lot should be attached too the mall .... the other idea would be you have alot of spaces that are open , why not put a building that can handle little stores that are small , like a dollar store and a craft store or something that can bring the customers too the mall and restaurants.
