Staff was rude. A lady literally shooed me away when I tried to fuel up tonight when my car was on empty. They have a special pump that you are apparently not allowed to use. Said pump has no obvious markings informing you of this besides a tiny ignorable sticker that is the size and style as all the other stickers on a gas pump. That pump was supposed to be for handicapped people (first time Ive ever seen or heard of such at a gas station), however they didnt bother to paint a symbol on the ground or give any obvious indication of that. Just a tiny camouflaging sticker that you cant see while driving. Not to mention, they chose the outermost pump to be the handicap one, which makes even less sense. How are the people who you intend to use this pump supposed to find it if its largely unrecognizable? How am I supposed to know not to pull up at it? Why should staff have to stop doing their job to exit the building, just to scare off customers from that pump? If you want customers to know about it without staff having to resort to rude hand gestures from across the parking lot, then label it in an obvious way like normal parking lots do. I applaud this companys attempts at ADA compliance, but their horrible execution with labeling and subpar customer communication strategy may help lose more customers than it gains if this keeps up. Ill be avoiding this chain in the future.

Experiences at the Kum and Go thus far has been positive ones. The fillling area is very large and leaves plenty of room for cars in multiple directions. Its nice to not feel like youre right up next to somebody youre trying to fill your tank. Things are well lit overnight and the area does a good job protecting you against inclimate weather. We havent spent a great deal of time inside the gas station, but the time we have spent in there was pleasant. Theyve got plenty of pop, beer, wine and energy drinks in addition to tons of snacks. Pretty standard gas station attendants who have been pleasant each time weve been inside. Easy on and off access from Coralville strip and about a mile from the freeway. Only gas station near the freeway on that side of highway 2.

Had one of the best customer service experiences ever at this location. We werent sure what energy drinks would help some tired tailgaters, but Tyler was up to the challenge. He personally walked us over to the cooler and helped us through all our options. His suggestions and positive attitude were much appreciated!

Well lit and well kept gas station (clean bathrooms!). Typical gas station fare. Gotta lpve K&Gs $1 foyntain drinks during the summer months.
