RAMPANT INCOMPETENCE! I sent a very important disk from the Cedar Rapids, William Boulevard UPS store. It was a Friday, and I emphasized to the UPS store employee that the disk must arrive on Saturday, for a international business conference taking place that weekend. They assured me that it would arrive on time, but mistakenly entered it for the next BUSINESS day, rather than the next day. Saturday morning, I checked the tracking information online and the package hadnt been delivered. The tracking info also showed the estimated delivery time to be Monday, which was two days too late because the conference would have been over. I called the UPS store to find a solution, and while explaining the problem, the employee smugly tried to shift blame to me, by over-simplistically stating "Well you signed for it". Since there were no shipping vendors that do a same day delivery across the state, my only solution was to re-burn the disk and drive 5 hours to deliver it personally. When I returned, I contacted the owner of the store to describe my experience. After debating her and other store employees for hours, I was only offered was a refund on my original shipping. I felt they should have done more considering the magnitude of the problem they caused, and the significant time I had to spend fixing it. Being dissatisfied with their attempt to do the bare minimum, I described my intent to tell this story online. At that time, the owner finally took notice, and decided to offer me an additional $100 credit at the store. Knowing that by accepting I would have to deal with this store again, I unenthusiastically accepted the credit. When it came time to redeem the credit, I called the store to get an overnight shipping quote. I provided the dimensions and the weight to the lady on the phone, who quoted me a little over $86 to ship the package. When I arrived at the store, the same lady charged me $129. I asked how there could be that much difference from the quote she had given me less than two hours prior. She insisted that I must have given her different dimension over the phone, even though I had measured, weighed and written the details on the box before I even called the store. The attitude of arrogantly blaming customers for their mistakes has obviously spread though this store like a pandemic. I now avoid this store like the plague, and I suggest others do the same. Also, the store front looks nothing like the photo provided to Google by the owner. It seems an attempt to make the store look better than it actually is.

They were nice enough as far as staff goes, but I was charged for a fax that did not come through clearly due to their fax machine running out of toner. Still had to pay for it even though I did not want it, I ended up emailing the papers I needed and printed them off there instead. So all in all was charged for a 7 page fax 2 which had lines through it and the rest well, if you can make a paragraph out of 3 words good luck to you. But its your basic service for UPS its all there maybe not the customer satisfaction but the rest works thanks ladies for charging me for stuff I couldnt use.

I have been printing multiple Items at this location for my wedding, and have had nothing but good experiences, everything has been very reasonably priced, quickly printed, and most recently I printed some sheets that were black and white- 2 sided- but were upside down. I didnt notice till I got them home since I usually just run in quick to grab them, Sent an e-mail over to the store to see if they could be corrected or if I needed to re-order online, they re-printed the new ones and were done and ready to be picked up within about an hour of my first e-mail! Great service!
