The only place in the metro that has Bawls! Found a lot of other items that caught my attention once I visited. Want a sucker with a scorpion? Want a new carbonated beverage, something Hy-Vee doesnt carry? Want a nice mix or new candies for your party? Gag gifts? This place is an adult candy store but child friendly. Great place!

Scarlet Fire

Very kind owner, obscure soda and fun selection! We came stumbled upon it yesterday, on our way from Ames. We left a variety of taffy, our favorite gummies and a delicious orange cream soda. We will be back! They also sell unique posters, and oldies memorabilia that line the walls. It will be worth your while stopping in!

Awesome selection, it is somewhat cluttered, but the sodas are sort of grouped together, root beers together next to cream sodas, next to ginger ales, etc. You can pretty much find any flavor of soda youd like, plus just about any candy, and if they dont have it you can ask and they can try to get it in stock.

Such a great candy store! There is so much variety and novelty items in addition to the old fashioned candy youd expect from a traditional candy store. The owner was friendly. I called in advanced looking for a specific item, and he kindly answered all my questions. He knows his products well.

Huge fan of Rocket Fizz. Enormous selection of candies, and rare sodas from all over the country and even the world. Im a sucker for Hanks Root Beer, and Green Rivers so Rocket Fizz is one of my favorite stores in Ankeny! Great service as well. Staff is friendly, and very helpful.

Very much enjoyed browsing your large selection of sodas. Was also a delight for a root beer lover. Most sodas are priced the same unless something really special, and they had discounts for buying in larger quantities.

What an overwhelming experience. There is such a variety of candy, sodas, and wall signs. The staff was super friendly and very helpful when we asked for candy suggestions. I will definitely be returning in the future.

A decent place to get all sorts of regional/international sodas (especially root beers) and candies. The only downside is that they are fairly expensive.
