Best deli meat and cheese deals around. I like the numbering system in Mooresville store. It gives you an idea about how long youll have to wait to be served. One thing I dont like though.... I am a single person and they used to let me break up my 5lbs of one kind of meat into two packages. Now they have changed that so that Id have to get the whole 5 lbs in one package. I cant eat that much all at one setting so I end up wasting food.

My wife and I stopped by last night because they had ribeye steaks on sale. We brought them home and cooked them on the grill. I have never grillled a steak poorly. I have been grilling for 25 years. The meat was "green" as in not aged. In all the years I have been eating steaks, these 2 steaks were the toughest I have ever eaten by far. I had eaten half of the steak and finally gave up. My wifes was the same way.

Prices on regular groceries are higher than you will find in other "chain" stores, but most people go to the Value Market for the butcher shop. You can always get a good deal on steak or ground beef. This place is a summer staple for my family as we always try to find time to grill out. You cant beat the quality and cost of the meat here. Nowhere else like it around the area.

Love, love, love this place! Very friendly staff! Meat is the best, you will travel many miles to nuy your meat from them! Once you eat their meat you will never be happy with any grocery store meats, I love my other grocery store for other items but cant eat their meat! Be smart wherever you live you have hot to try the meat, you will be very happy and hooked!

The woman in the meat department handles your meat bare handed. After asking about this I was told it was a courtesy for them to wear gloves. That its not required by the health department. Either way its bad business practice not to. Since all it takes is for her not to wash her hands properly to make someone sick. No thanks Ill go else where.

The prices here are reasonable and their meat is quality. I really appreciate this store when I dont feel like going into the business of Kroger or Walmart and want that small town grocery shopping experiance. Butchers are super friendly but its hit or miss with the checkout clerks. Overall they provide a nice, organized shopping experiance.

The best thing about this place is the meat section, they have got some awesome Meats and the best chicken breast around! If you want to taste real chicken like the chicken mama cooked back in the day in the frying pan go to value market and I guarantee you you wont go back to that Tyson or Perdue chicken breast

The best meat counter around. They usually have 5 to 6 people working on the weekends and need them! The workers are very polite and kind. People are lined up to buy their quality meats. Remember to get a number. This is a place that is out of the way for us, but when we are in Mooresville we always stop.

Ive always enjoyed the great value they offer here. The coolers and checkout lanes are from yesterdays world its like stepping in a time machine. The produce is always fresh just a great little mom and pop shop. I hope they never have to modernize the inside, its just perfect!

They have great meat. You cant do any better than value market and the prices are unbeatable. I can buy meat from bigger box stores but its nasty and tough. We buy all of our meat at Value Market and you can find some odds and ends as well.

Go here for excellent quality & value of meats ONLY!!! Small town market feel is nice. BUT everything other than the meat is outrageously priced. Many products on shelves are double to triple what you would pay at other nearby markets

Nice place. Meat is cheap, but they make up for it by over-pricing everything else. Meat folks are courteous, but the cashiers could care less if you are there and would rather you didnt talk to them. Sad.

Great prices and large selection of meats with bulk discounts available. Smaller section of groceries, with higher pricing but convenience oriented. I come here for the bulk bacon and meat items.

I like this place. Not too many places that do butcher style counter anymore. Almost always have good prices on their meat. I dont buy much else there as the rest of their store is rather high.
