I had a tattoo done here a year ago and had an ok experience... I ended up being there for almost 5 hours waiting to be tattoed but finally got it done and I loved it. I decided that I wanted to get another tattoo and called Midwest yesterday morning to make an appointment. The guy who answered the phone was very rude when telling me that I didnt need an appointment but assured me that it shouldnt be a problem to just walk in. When I got there I was then told that I had to have an appointment for my tattoo because they didnt have time to do it even though there was nobody in the shop and all of the artists were just sitting around and I was there 3 and a half hours befored they closed! Its shame since I was very happy with my work last time and now I have to find someplace else. They lost a customer who was planning on spending $300+ last night and will never recommend them to anyone else ever again .

I went in last night to get a septum piercing, and everything went really well. id heard about this place from some classmates that said this place was a really nice place for piercings and i totally agree. id never had a piercing before, and the artist that worked on me was very funny and likeable. he made me feel comfy and could tell that i was nervous. he made sure that my septum was completely sterile and did a very thorough cleaning. the piercing itself was very quick and very precise. afterwards he answered every question i had and didnt make me feel stupid for asking so many things. honestly, this place is perfect for piercings, although ive never gotten a tattoo here.

These guys were amazing. After walking into Artistic just South of Midwest and being treated like crap. Walking into Midwest was like a breath of fresh air. Those guys were amazing. my Best friend got the exact Tattoo that she wanted and it looked amazing. I had a couple of piercings done for the hell of it and Im very pleased with what I got. They guys in there are a lot of fun to BS with and arent afraid to be themselves. They werent stuck up A** Holes and didnt have any of the attitudes that Artist seems to come with. I highly recommend this particular shop. I will be going back for sure.

Honestly an okay place, my tattoo artist was funny and held a conversation through out my ink session. However it was a small piece, only took up a bit of oh I dont know thirty minutes at the most, and it was a black and grey tattoo no color... He charged me $100. Thats not right at all, should of been $65 at the highest. This isnt my first tattoo and certainly wont be my last, but I will not be coming back to this shop.

Ive had 4 of my 8 tattoos done at this shop, and I will always go here for my professional work. I got my first tattoo done here 10 years ago, and it still looks like it was done yesterday. I went to Artistic once, and Ive regretted that tattoo ever since. I plan on having the guys at Midwest cover it up. Theyre amazing.

I just got my first tattoo from them and the guys were amazing. I was really scared and they were fun and relaxed and calmed me down. He made the experience enjoyable and I was not focused on the pain of the tattoo, in fact it hurt a lot less than i assumed it would and was led to believe.

Im not sure of the name of the tattoo artist but he completely botched a very simple tattoo. He used a liner for filling in thick dark areas and dug in way too deep, my tattoo was a scabby mess and is now a blotchy mess now that its healed. Would not recommend.

Went in for my 1st tattoo, which were knuckle tats and it was a good experience. Dont know the artists name, but he was super chill and talked me through the process real smooth like. Will probably be going back soon
