Awesome experience!!!! Unfortunately, I did not get the names, other than my cashier Judy M., but two women in your bakery department, two associates on the floor and the cashier were so friendly and extremely helpful. This was my first visit to your store and what a pleasant experience!!!! Also, my cashier, Judy M., asked if I was a senior citizen, which I am, and she gave me a discount and advised that this is a regular occurrence the first Wednesday of every month. I was so happy!!!! I will now continue to shop at the Hobart, IN location (#8778) for all my grocery needs. Thank you again for the experience and helpfulness. Great location!!!!!!!

Called and asked for the deli phone number to order chicken wings. CSR said she would connect me. Stayed on hold for way too long when finally I connected. To my surprise I was put on hold again, connected again and put on hold AGAIN without being given a chance to say a word. Hung up and recalled and on and on, well, you get the picture. A container of mashed potatoes cost $4.89. I could buy a 5 lb. bag and mash them myself for less than that. Back to PeaPod and Meijers for me.

Sad to say that I grew up shopping Stracks but now frequent Meijers even if it is farther away. Why?? cause the produce here flat out sucks. its expensive/poor selection/quality. Also seems like there is a lot of difference in shelf price and register price, to the point where I take a pic w/phone of price on shelf cause 90% of time the price is wrong when get to the register. Wish could get better produce, selection. would go back.

Went there today. Having problems walking. I saw an employee outside and asked if the had an electric cart available. He went right in and got me one and brought it to my car. His name was William and I think his last initial was C. This kind of kindness by the employees is why I like SVT.

Most people are nice but the deli manager Stephanie was horrible, nasty attitude and insulting. I bring it up to a store managers attention and they say stress is high ... so thats ok?... should I come in on my stressful days and take it out on you all ? Learn how to deal with customers

Hopefully the pricing will finally be able go down. As I feel they have become over priced. Fuel cost are way down for shipping. That was the main reason for the huge hike in pricing so they said. Best of luck for the new former owners. Have been a shopper at your store since it opened.

A strong rival to Meiers and Wal-Marts grocery departments, this store boasts an impressive selection of fresh produce, ethnic cuisine, a large deli, and many organic choices throughout the store.

Strack & Van Til is okay, but their prices are way too high. You can get a much better deal at Meijer or Country Market. They do have a good bakery and good chicken for catering.
