Ive just moved to greenwood and my wife and I have a ton of plans for our house. Weve never been to Menards before moving here but now weve frequently been using this store, at least once a week. The service and customer service has been great until today. The first project were doing is staining the brick on the front of our house. Austin in the paint department was excellent at helping us select what type of stain to use, however; the woman mixing the paint was sort of rude and stand-offish. Wasnt a problem though, got our stain and started working... we thought one gallon would be enough since its thinner than paint... we take our time and a week or two in and were about half way done, the bricks are looking great but we know well need another gallon. So we go tk the store and Zach mixes up another can for us. When we get home about to get to work we notice the color is way off, but the numbers and name is the EXACT same. We go back and Zach os completely stumped, he gives us another gallon of another color, the only other color close to our first gallon and its close... but you can tell theres a difference. Now my house is halfway done, and Im out of stain and about $100. Zach and Austin were great and provided excellent services but whoever that lady was the first time really screwed us over.

My wife and I purchased a deluxe arched pergola on August 14. We are moving into a new home and felt this pergola would look great in the back yard. We had informed the associate Matt that it would be a couple of weeks before we could pick it up and was told that was fine. I even called last week to make sure it was still there and was assured that it was and that my name was put on the box. Today I called to let them know we were coming for the pergola and was told it was SOLD and that there were no more in stock (other than the floor model). I asked how this could have happened since I was told not to worry and the answer was "I dont know!" According to the associate on the phone today, there was no record of the associates name that sold our item that we had paid for. I find that hard to believe. I asked if they could get us another one and was told no, even though there are others available at another store some distance away. Very Poor Service....

i purchased a 3 piece sectional and after getting it home my wife and i thought it would look nicer in the room with one more section so i called the store to make sure i could even do that and i was told they had 8 in stock and i made it very clear i only wanted on piece of the 3 piece sectional to add to my set after driving 45 mins one way they said they would not break up a set even though there price separably and would not help me all they said is if they got to the display maybe i could buy a piece from it which there display has a hole in one of the cushions so no help and no thanks that will be my final purchase from the worst rated home store in the market

Our shopping experience at Menards in Camby In started out fairly well in till they lost their delivery driver. Then it all went south. I had to pickup my materials myself if I wanted when I needed them. They would not work with us in anyway. They did however delivered out trusses and shingles only because we didnt need them in Sat. BUT I tried to get them to cover the cost of having shingles put on roof and they denied my request. I also learned that half of their employees walked out with in a week. Needless to say I am not a happy camper. Just beware if your gonna shop there, because Im not going back to that store in my opinion their customer service sucks.

Asked 3 people about upholstery tacks or screws, was told they have them, but no one could find them. Asked about self stick vinyl tiles, was told "dont have em". Looked at hardwood & laminate floor samples - lots of scratches & mars - not conducive to sales. Did get good deals on Hills Bros coffee, Downy & store brand LED light bulbs. Got home and found a critical repair part missing from bag. Called, its at the service desk, have to drive 13 miles round trip to pick it up. Boo!

My wife and I have always enjoyed shopping at Menards. Prices and service are good. We like that they carry a few pet supplies too. We have a little girl Boxer/Sharpei/Pit mix who is a power chewer. Menards actually carries a couple pretty tough chew toys that are much cheaper than what you find at other stores. The "Josh -zero stars!!!- Review" I see below is silly. You need to have your head examined if you walk around a store looking for someone to cut a 2x4 for 30-40 minutes.

We are looking to get flooring and wall coverings for our new game store. But well be going else where. Your hourly paid employees didnt seem to want to help us in any way. Store off of 135. Hour 11:42am date Wednesday march 22nd!! Perhaps making them commission will help you move product and motivate them to do their job. But thats just my opinion. Youll save money in the long run as well.

I come here because it is very close to my home. There are often items that they do not have and Ill need to go to Home Depot or Lowes, but Im sure the same is true for them also. Menards doesnt really have people to help you find anything, and I find Home Depot to be better for that. Menards prices overall are a bit higher.

We enjoy this store, good variety of products nice for home projects and helpful staff. The big frustration I have with this store/company is when I go to get a rebate on anything I have to mail in the rebate, thus I have to pay for a stamp, so many times its not even worth it to do it.
