I have been to this range many times over the past few years. It is very clean and I enjoy shooting trap and skeet there. With that said several of thier employees have serious attitude issues. Safety is paramount and I completely understand being firm when it comes to safety but I have witnessed them yell over their speaker system at people for minor infractions such as having thier foot across a line while sipping thier coffee. Berate shooter because they left thier targets on thier shooting table and so on. They have very little patience for those that are not extremely familiar with thier rules. They yell when a discussion would have not only have worked but taught the the individual the reason why these rules are in place. Again I would like to say this is not the skeet and trap range side it is the rifle and pistol range that has the attitudes. This place could be a nice place to shoot if they would use some professional tact over thier trailer trash attitudes. though I have never been yelled at I am sick of watching others being embarrassed and I will never frequent that side of the range again.

I have been to Atterbury several times now and this is the best range I have ever shot at. Im tuning reloads for my rifle for deer season and the 100 yard range is excellent. Im impressed with the facility over all, the fact that they carry powder and primers for reloading as well as several calibers of pistol ammo. For all that the facility offers including A+ safety policy and practices the hourly rate is CHEAP in my book. Just know that an "hour" generally includes three shooting sessions with two breaks to change targets depending on the shooters and range officer. Im also looking forward to shooting trap at the excellent shotgun range as well. I recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, clean, modern facility that offers coaching and help for beginners and experienced shooters alike.

I am so impressed with this gun range! The staff was nice and knowledgeable, the range was clean and the prices are extremely reasonable. The most important thing is that it feels very safe. They have a great system in place for firing, then they give a 2 minute warning, then they clear the firing line with flags placed in the chambers while a staff member walks the line to check the guns. Once clear, everyone walks the range to adjust their targets, once everyone is back, clear left, clear right.. line is hot. It feels so safe and well thought out. This range also has a bunch of lanes with varying distances. I didnt make it over to the skeet shooting side of the range, but I am just extremely impressed. After all of that, it didnt break the bank.. Ill definitely be back!

This is by far the nicest shooting range Ive ever been to in Indiana. The facility is very clean, rsos are polite and professional, as well as taking safety to the extreme without being overbearing. Theres plenty of supplies available for purchase, numerous target types, amoo, drinks, coffee, etc and even spotting scopes available for rent. The cover over the range does a great job protecting you from light rain and snow. Theres a couple dozen shooting lanes at the least, so many I didnt bother to count, the 100 yard has 6 benches available.

Love the rifle range. Have no problem with range master. Been there a dozen or more times. Any time I see him being abrasive is when someone is doing something hazardous. Today he did remind me to load and unload weapons at the firing stations and not the areas behind them. The range was hot and we were packing up. It must be a new rule but I said okay and thanked him. On slow days I love the RSO and other employees are quick to watch and help shooters out and answer questions.

The range master is abrasive and very unfriendly, but the range itself is great. Having served in the military and spending a considerable amount of time around weapons myself I understand that safety is paramount however there is always the paying customer that must be treated as such. I cant help thinking how much more money this place would make if it werent for the range master and his demeanor. FYI the woman at the front desk is extremely helpful and friendly!!

Yeah I get it, the prices are good, but they nickel and dine you so you have to pay more then you expected. We had to wait in line for about 3 minutes at the cash register, had everything packed up just waiting to check out. While waiting we went over the one hour limit and were charged. We had to pay for another hour because of their poor customer service. The facility is decent but the customer service is substandard.

The gal at the front desk is friendly. The facility is clean. I was told by someone that its the safest public range in the country. Remember----Keep the muzzle down range at all times. Nice shop well stocked. They rent guns. They do require identification. When visiting look for the water tower on the left and the rock on the right.

First time going to an outdoor range. Staff was very friendly and patient. I actually came to site in a new reticle site I recently bought, I forgot my spotting scope at home, and one of the staff came out and helped me site it in! Highly recommend this range.

Safe place to shoot, test, teach others to shoot, etc. The Range Safety Officers are there for one reason. So listen to everything that they say and dont pretend to know everything - no matter how long youve been shooting. Dont bring your negligent habits here.

First time visiting the shooting complex. My friend and I were there for three hours mostly at the rifle range but spent some time at the pistol range as well. The people were very friendly and they will help sight in your optics if you ask.

Great range. It is managed very well with a no nonsense staff. Plenty of supplies. Great for hand gun as well as a medium range then a 100 yard for long gun. The only thing I wish it had was a 500 yard range. But all in all it is great.

A very nice facility to shoot at. My daughter and I had a fine time and though there were a lot of people there it didnt feel crowded. The only improvement I could suggest is to the staff. You get more flies with honey.

best range I have been to. Only $6 an hour for the lane, so you can have 2 or 3 people on 1 lane. I went with my room mate, we shot on the pistol and rife range for 3 hours and it only cost us a total of $18. amazing.
