The river was great, but the aftermath - HORRIBLE! The owner of the company yelled in my face for what felt like at least ten minutes because I parked my truck where HIS EMPLOYEES TOLD ME I COULD!!! He then threatened to call the police and have my vehicle towed, called me a liar at least three times until his wife finally talked some sense into him. After this shocking interaction, I drove back to the place of business where I saw the girl I spoke with. She apologized profusely through tears - All I could think is if this business owner treats his PAYING CUSTOMERS like this, how does he treat his employees? We will NEVER NEVER NEVER be back, and I encourage anyone else to stay away from this company just on principle. Seriously, buy your own canoe - its not worth the misery!!! Oh and btw, our 2pm trip left well after 3 oclock today. And yes, everyone got there at 1:30 like they mandated. So had they run their company efficiently, my truck would have been parked there for less than two hours. One other thing - the reason I was late and trying to meet up with my friends? Because I was late getting off work - fixing a broken jaw on a kitten. Nice huh?

This is a wonderful, family run and oriented company. The young men do all the heavy lifting for you - you only need to worry about the paddling and having fun! They are very reasonable and accommodating. This is one of my familys favorite family activities. If youre looking to relax and decompress give them a call. We have done the Rusty Oar trip (approx 2hrs for us) and the Wapihani Landing (about 3hrs for us). Both were very enjoyable, however if youre looking for less water traffic I would recommend the later. You call them when you get near the 116th St. bridge and theyre pretty quick about coming to fetch you. I am looking forward to doing this again. FYI: if you have your own boat they will still port it for you (for a small fee of course).

Well let me tell you a little something about this place overcharged me told me theyd call me back there was nothing they could do havent heard from them since now when I call all the phone does is ring very rude very unprofessional and they have this one little red headed boy that works there he very shity little attitude the whole place as far as Im concerned can burn I will never ever return to this place love being outdoors love being on the water but I also like being treated with a little bit of respect and not lied to very very unprofessional you read this please take in consideration and pick somewhere else this place is not worthy of its highly priced canoe rentals

Perfect float for a beginner. Shallow river and relatively easy to navigate. Disappointing customer service, however. No return call after leaving a message for a reservation. Then told the next day by phone that we didnt need a reservation, but he didnt mention that without one it would cost $4 extra. Website said trips from 9am to 3pm, but we were told the 3pm wasnt available and then made to feel like we were causing a problem when we arrived 5 minutes before the 2pm trip and told "hurry up because others have been waiting for a half hour". Otherwise a nice float and a really nice guide in Adam to get us started.

Kayaking down the White River with White River Canoe Company is one of my favorite things to do on a nice day! This is a well run, family owned business. Their prices are very reasonable and they have knowledgeable staff members. You pay, park and get in the shuttle at their Noblesville location. The shuttle leaves at the top of the hour throughout the day up to 3pm and drives you up river where they launch you and you float/kayak/canoe/tube down the river until you reach their main location again. When my family comes to town I always take them out on the river with me and everyone LOVES it. Its a great time!

Poorly Run Operation. Waited about an hour before the van came to pick us up even though we had a "reservation". Two other groups before us waited 90 minutes. Incredible cluster f&*k. How hard is it to have canoes ready for those who had reservations? The van pulled the canoes but paddles came later in another truck. WTF? I could go on.... wtf. They get one star because the canoe didnt sink. This place could be a case study for industrial engineers students at Purdue or something.

10 person two day overnight canoe trip from lafayette to livery, camping at the rusty oar site, we absolutely loved it. WRCC is one of the nicer places I have canoed. The river was great, the canoeing was awesome, and even caught a couple small mouthes. The staff, Brian and others, were unbelievably hospitable and you really made the entire group feel overwhelmingly comfortable and we appreciated it. It made our experience one to remember and for that we thank you.

Best value for family entertainment. We couldnt have asked for better service and cooperation from the White River Canoe Company staff! Our family would recommend canoeing with these guys over any other outfitter in central Indiana. I also recommend checking out their river tube trips. We had the most fun going tubing. Overall a great day well spent and many more to come! Not really sure how the previous comment applies to this company..

We were all super excited to go kayaking initial we came to this place. They are super rude firstly, I almost think that is part of the requirements to work here. Everyone I spoke with! Very expensive as well to for such rude service. I love to canoe and kayak but this will be my last visit to this place. If I could give no stars I would. Closer is not always better, Ill keep driving to brookville lake.

Had online reservations made two full days in advance, for which we received email confirmation. Arrived shortly after 9am for a 10am departure. Left after 10am when employees never showed up.Now after 11:30am and still no contact. Email and phone numbers left on office door before we got ticked and left. Great way to run a business that is customer service based!!!

They were super friendly and super helpful. We went late summer when water was lower and there was a big south wind. We did tubes and only had one point that we had to drag our tubes. We had a couple issues which put us way behind schedule on our end but the guys who work there were super amazing and came to us and helped us back with their kayaks. I will go again!

Phones were busy when trying to call for a pick up. Spent too much time waiting for the bus to pick us up. Quite frankly, Id rather of spent the $50 on something else. I highly recommend not using this service. Also the staff were very rude.

With the water level higher than normal, this made it a better experience. We were able to stop off at potters bridge for a nice picnic too! The people were really nice and told us where to avoid for downed trees. Definitely going back!

We got there, place was closed. No one answered the phone or bothered to call folks who had reservations to say it was closed today. Very poor business dealings and handling their customers. Would not trust this company again.
