Kind, kind staff. Amazing assortment of natural and organic foods. Love the cheese section!!! Absolutely love their beautiful produce section. A rainbows assortment of wonderful produce. My hubby loves the free samples dotted around the store (I think they especially do this on Sat.). They have a bulk section where you can buy dry staple items at discount (salt, spices, flour, oats, rice, beans, lentils, granola, dried fruit, even candy, etc). You dont have to buy a certain amount to get the discount you just have to package and label your own quantities. They also have a large supply of nutritional supplements and a substantial amount of personal care items. The deli makes a beautiful and wide assortment of dishes. The bakery items are beautiful. They also have a hot bar, salad bar and indoor and outdoor seating area.

Beware -- Food poisoning! My son and I ate BBQ chicken from their hot food bar, and have both been horribly sick for 3 days. I called the assistant manager today to put them on notice, and was received with a litany of irrelevant questions such as, "Who was the cashier? Which cash register line were you in? Can you describe the cashier? Horrible customer service and a poor customer experience. There was no concern at all that their food was not prepared or handled properly, and subsequently made my son and I extremely ill. Awful. Would shop there for packaged items, but will never eat their salad bar, hot bar or any prepared foods again. Disgusting!

This used to be our go to grocery store and was for nearly 4 years. Last year, organic produce started to be replaced with conventional but without pricing being lowered. They still offer a good selection and it is fresher than say Kroger but I find the local Fresh Market to have better produce and just as good butchery. The bulk goods are still worth stopping in for, including spices. The deli is extremely expensive, so definitely go elsewhere for your sandwich goods. Of the two locations, this one is definitely limited compared to the Nora location. This spot needs to up its game with Fresh Market and Fresh Thyme just down the street.

This is hands down the worst Whole Foods in the USA. I travel all over the country and some of Canada and plan my trips around Whole Foods, PA, NY, Toronto, all over CA, NC, TN, too many places to mention. Wish Id taken the time to photo the consistently pathetic salad and hot food bar combined with Unknowledgeable staff. Ive stopped here several times a year the past few years and enough is enough. I finally took the time to nicely talk to the manager this week and I just got the life story of all the employee problems and excuses. Drive to the store in Nora a few miles south.

Not an awful store with 1 main exception and that is the seafood counter. It is very poor and every single piece of seafood is frozen which was very disappointing. The meat counter is fine but nothing to write home about. Just 1/2 mile further down 146th is Fresh Market and I think it is a much better store and they are the one who gets my business every week.

So they know that Carmel housewives will shell out whatever it costs to be trendy and organic. Heaven forbid a vegan art major would want to shop there! Dried pomegranates (approx. 8 oz?) $8-10??? Crazy! I know organic is costlier, but the price difference is way too large to be represenative of actual cost differential.

Good resource, friendly employees, but Im not impressed with the quality and freshness of their produce. I think they would refund my money if I took back the bad produce but I cant keep running back to the store for something I feel should not be an issue in the first place.

I do not think the employees are as kind as at other stores. We spend our weekly grocery money there because we like the food but have found the employees in other states to be much more customer friendly.

Always phenomenal! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of food preferences (vegan, gluten free, non-gmo, organic, etc). The only store better than this is Whole Foods in Indianapolis.

This store is great. Their selection of organic food is always satisfactory. We often use Peapod for most of our non-organic perishable goods and come here for our organic food needs.
