I recently decided to redo some flooring in a home I just purchased in the spring. I was wanting to save some money and do the project myself. I have never remodeled a floor before, so I stopped in to get some ideas and prices. I was encountered by the most helpful gentleman in the flooring department. He took the time to show me the different type of floors and along with how to install them myself. The plan was to just go in and get some ideas but I was so confident after talking to him I went ahead and made my purchase. Not only did he educate me, he also loaded all the flooring and tools needed and pushed them to the cash registers for me. I will definitely be back for any future flooring projects because of this young man. Be sure to ask for Troy in the flooring department.

My daughter and I visited the Avon Menards this afternnon to shop for some vanities for her home.We finally found a clerk.When she came up,I asked her if there was a place we could sit down to go over our measurements to then be able to look at our options. was quickly told there was no place to sit.I have knee issues and I cant stand for long. She took us to the aisle where the vanities were and then left us to figure out what we needed on our own. This is not customer service!!! We left the store to go somewhere else who could help us with our families needs.Guess you didnt need our money. This was unexceptable conduct for a place that advertises Customer Service as a selling point.We wont be back!!!

Its Menards. What else to you expect? But weve been here for over an hour before, because it was difficult to find stuff. Weve asked employees before, and they told us where it could be, and it wasnt there. It can be difficult to find the perfect piece that you need for whatever you need it for like plumbing, floor tiling, light switches, or anything else.

Terrible customer service. Asking an employee where an item is located might as well be the equivalent to asking him/her to loan you $100. Stood at the paint dept counter for several minutes while three employees didnt even acknowledge my existence. I had to speak up before finally receiving an answer to my question. Wont be going back.

Ordered a fireplace and paid for it then when I called back to get tracking information they informed me that it wasnt ordered even though I purchased it and was told it was all taken care of. When I called in to inquire nobody wanted to talk to me. Horrible experience.

The worst experience ever. In there over a hour ask 5 different worker for help all moved very slow. Had to find everything myself. Half inch screw bolts and ankers and a few others small things. They act like they dont know anything.

Lots of helpful people here. They could do a better job of having in stock the items that they advertise on sale but that isnt necessarily the stores fault as this is a big corporate entity. They do have great prices on most items.
