Been a Verizon customer for about 10 years. In November/December I made several purchases in this store for Christmas gifts. In one of these trips I also had the name changed on my account. Saul was very happy to help me buy products there. Recently, one of my cell phones broke and I called Verizon to determine what my insurance would cover. I was informed by Verizon that my insurance was cancelled in the Wheeling store when my account was switched over. Verizon said it couldnt add it on now since the phone was broken. I went back in to talk to Saul and Adam. They stated there wasnt a video camera of them removing the insurance from my account, so nobody really knows when it was removed. They then advised me that it was my fault because I should have noticed the "cheaper" bill. The reason I switched names on the account was for a cheaper plan! They were great when I was spending money there but as soon as there was an issue (their fault) they turned on me.

If you are trying to claim warranties; exchange an item or return something, save the trip to this store and call the 800 Verizon number. In all of my visits I have had, they use whatever excuse to deny the warranty or make your transaction invalid and instead persuade to purchase a new item. Calling the 800 number yields the exact opposite of what they tell you at the store. I get that sales team at the store gets commisions out of accesories, but arent they supposed to care for the costumer as well? It is sad that franchises like this one do not share the values and mission of the company they pretend to represent.

After my wife and family spent over three day and over a thousand dollars in phones and acc. my $30.00 case clip broke after a week. I returned to the store expecting a refund. After all it does have a one year warranty. I was told that i had to buy a new one. WHAT??? Are you kidding me i asked. But we can give it to you at a discounted price. Go pound sand buddy!!!! Went to a different store in the next town. Sure sir, no problem i can take care of that no problem!!! Its under warranty. Cool!! Needless to say i will not be going back to the Wheeling store.

Please be careful with your plan changes and additional products that they tried to offer with false promises. If you are of a person do not pay close attention on every single line where you are signing and every bill and amout carefully avoid this store or Verizon itself as much as possible. I called yesterday at 2:00pm and still waiting for call back after 26 hours, when I called again today they said they are still looking and trying to understand the plan changes (which was done by the same store) Hats off...

I was promptly greeted by Brenda as soon as I entered the store. I had a few problems going on with my text messaging and she worked through several different paths until she figured out I needed a new SIM card. I really appreciate Brendas dedication to customer service and not giving up until she found a solution. I will definitely be back if I am ever in need of assistance in the future!

They declined my application due to fraud, but I was in the store with a government issued photo ID. How is this possible? Verizons fraud department is a joke and the manager flagged my account for fraud because she didnt like me. Beware.
