this place sucks & the employees are awful ! ive gone here many times & every single time i went my experience was very bad. not only are the employees unprofessional & unexperienced but they are notorious for their horrible attitude towards their customers. they make you feel like you are wasting their time & also make you feel like they are judging you for pawning your items esp if your item is not too popular in demand. they also act like they hate working there & they act like they are miserable while on the job. they base the amount of money for the item off searching the item off the ebay website & sometimes lie about the prices. i tried selling one of my dison vaccums there & it was brand new still in the box & i paid $200 dollars for it but they told me they only give $40 dollars for all vaccums bc they dont go for much off the ebay website. i then asked them if they can show me the prices off the page they are getting this from & immediately got offended by my request saying that they are not allowed to do that when the customer in front of me asked the same question & they showed him the page. i assumed that they acted this way because they lied about the price. i asked to speak to a manager & the manager was of no help either & still would not show me the page. they then told me the most they can do for my vaccum was $60 bucks so i took it anyways because i was there much longer than i expected & had things i had to do. however, i drove past the day after & right away saw that my vaccum was on display & they were selling it for $250 which is $50 dollars more than i paid for it at the original store. they also displayed a sign on the vaccum saying that the original price was $400. once i seen that i took my reciept from the other day & told them that i sold that vaccum to them & only got $60 when they are selling it for more than i originally bought it for. they told me i had to leave or else security was going to escort me out. after that i never went back & i would not recommend this place to anyone. if you are reading this please do not go there because you will have a horrible experience with them. if you do decide to go anyways then i wish you the best of luck. the pawn shop i would recommend is hollywood pawners right down the block. ive been going there ever since & the customer service is awesome & its only one guy who works there ! he is very friendly & very fair with prices as well. hes easy to talk to & what i like the most about him is that he has a very friendly relationship with all his customers. hes also very professional & acts like he actually loves his job & loves all his customers as well. when i first went to hollywood pawners i told the guy who works there my awful experiences with cash america & he told me that he has had money people come into his shop after going to cash america first trying to sell their gold & the customers were told that their items were not gold & that cash america wouldnt take them in. however when they went to hollywood pawners & the guy who works there took a look at their items to see if they were gold all turned out to in fact be gold after being told by cash america that their item was not gold. this goes to show how unprofessional cash america really is. if youre looking to get your moneys worth then go to him at hollywood pawners & you will leave very satisfied!

Went in to pawn in my guitar today and had a terrible customer service experience. As a frequent customer in the past after not coming back for some time I went in today. I felt as if my business wasnt wanted and the action of the workers proved that to be true. They have a number system for there line so no one cuts in front of someone else. And although I was up next and the workers constantly acted as if I wasnt there,they left there stations numerous times while I waited constantly and was being patient, they knowing skipped my number twice and even laughed in my face while letting someone ahead of me. Another guy who had been serviced and was about to leave also told me that his experience with them was terrible. I cant recall the workers name but she the only one out of all the workers to wear glasses. After I was skipped twice I decided to walk out. I spent a total of 35 mins waiting while I was suppose to be next. I felt a strong sense of prejudice while being there but didnt wanna jump to conclusions. In short I would not recommend this pawnshop at all. There prices are to high,Most equipment they sell is damaged,and theyre extremely unprofessional. Just go down the block two either of the other three pawnshops. I highly recommend Royal Crown Jewelry And Pawn. Ive been going there for months now and there customer service has been nothing less than satisfying and helpful. They serviced me took my guitar and off I was. Thank you for reading.

Hello Everyone, As someone who uses online reviews before I visit a business; I wanted to chime in about this business and where it stands now! :) I am the "New Management" that many of these review suggest and they are correct in asking for it. I can say with confidence that this is a completely different store now. Employees are better trained and supervised and the system for services is more streamlined. I did see one review from Daniella about a vacuum and I wont say the whole thing is a story BUT not all is true. ** If someone sells us an item, it has to be held for 30 days before it can me sold. So the item she said was out for display the next day is just not true. I just wanted to clear that up :) The employees here were unhappy and I know you did not get the service you have. They were overworked, Understaffed and had no Leadership. My Name is Nicholas and I come to meet any customer that wants to meet the new manager. Absolutely horrible. Staff allowed people to cut me & another gentleman in line without pulling a number ticket nor did they enforce the rule(which makes it pointless) then the store manager Joe, allowed two guys cut in front of us again just for a PS4 controller. When I told him thats the second time weve been cut in a row, Joe said to wait, which I was already doing 15min before those clowns came in. He then threatened to call the police on me for saying two swear words, I DIDNT cause a scene, I DIDNT threaten anyone. I told him I was a paying customer putting down $100 for some equipment they knew little to nothing about, and that I have a contract with them. I filed a complaint and admitted that I swore 2 or 3 times, but youll never find anyone in this city that will let you slap them in the face(metaphorically speaking) twice without retaliation of some sort. This place sucks, and needs new management.
