on 11/13/2013 at 200pm left auto for repair (no brake lites) this was at 200pm Called about car 11:50am on 11/14/2013 was told they would look at my car in a half an hour an call me and let me know the results, no call ever came. Called Pepboys at 200pm was told they had not got to it yet and did not when they would look at it. REMEMBER THIS IS FOR NO BRAKE LITES. Further, in early September 2013, this same Pepboys in Oaklawn replaced the starter and battery on this same auto (2004 chevy blazer) and neglected to tighten the battery posts The auto died the next day at nursing home that I was visiting to pick someone up, I was in a bad parking spot and had to get it towed back to Pepboys THEY CHARGED ME $40 FOR THE TOW. AS OFF THIS DAY I ONLY GO 7030 S CICERO. RONALD POPE 9328 S CENTRAL PARK

I will definitely be a valued customer if Oak Lawn Pep Boys continues to have Jessie as their manager. I am completely new to cars, but I had a feeling that I needed an oil change. Jessie was able to squeeze me in today for my car to be serviced even though his schedule was busy. He even went outside to my car and taught me how to change my air filter (Jesus it needs to be changed) and gave me tremendous tips and info about my maintaining my car. Jessie is super friendly, an effiecent worker and an easy to talk/work with. You guys need more people like Jessie!!

I went in for new tires, and decided to let them change the oil. Big mistake. They stripped the oil pan plug, and rather than admit to their mistake, they put two rubber gaskets on to cover it up. This made it obvious they knew they messed it up. Now my driveway has drip stains, and the repair, which a took to a reputable repair place, cost me an additional $70. I consider my self lucky to have caught the problem soon enough, because it could have been a lot worse.

The customer service was outstanding. I had my front and rear brakes/tune up/ belts replaced/shocks/alignment/ for my Honda Element. I was called immediately once the work was completed, which was pretty quickly, and to my utmost satisfaction. Ive reffered family and friends who have also visited and have been satisfied with their services. Jim, the manager, was very involved with the repair process and was extremely courteous. They have a loyal customer with me!

Every time I make an appointment the day before then that same day you go they tell you theyre booked and wait time is 4 hours. but first they ask you what service do you want I said oil change they will not waste their time and take a cheaper job theyd rather take the big jobs thats not fair horrible service will never go again bad management stay away ...Sears is friendlier and much cheaper.. if I had a chance to rate a 0 star I will give them one.

Very slow service had Cargo Van Towed into this PEP BOYS Location On A Friday at around 3:30 AM to have ball joint and upper and lower Ball joints replaced, they kept making excuses, as to why they could not get to my Van it is Saturday Night and still the repairs have not been done, in actuality they took care of other customers first and disregarded my repair. My recommendation is avoid this PEP BOYS at all cost!?!?!

This place sucks! I went there for an alignment. First of all , they didnt keep their appointment, so i had to wait an additional hour and a half or so for service. Secondly, they didnt even do a good job. A couple weeks later i took my car to another place, only to tell me i needed an alignment cause it wasnt done well! I STRONGLY ADVISE TO AVOID THIS LOCATION

I would never think about having a good time in an auto place but I did! Pep boys in oak lawn was awesome the service was great! The assistant manager Jessie was spectacular! He handled us and got us in and out! He was awesome and he should be promoted to Manager of that store! He is running it quite well.

Just stopped in today for a flat repair. Even though the place was pretty busy they found time to get the car fixed. Staff is very friendly and customer oriented. Guy at the counter Jessie very helpful and knowledgeable. I will be coming back for sure to get all my car repairs done here!

This Pep Boys is VERY slow. I got here at 9:30 AM and there was one car ahead of me. I was told that it would take approximately an hour to replace three tires....almost 4 later and Im still waiting. Ill never come back to this one
