You can get things other stores dont always carry. Such as: a floral section in which you can find top-quality, pre-made floral arrangements for just about any occasion, as well as floral/plants and loose fresh flowers you can put together as you like. Friendly, knowledgeable assistance if youd like or need some in floral department. I give a 98% thumbs up to their Deli and fresh meat/fish/seafood departments. I cannot give a 100% to these, due to experiencing a 1% dealing with rudeness and pompous attitudes in each of these 2 depts. Finally, many items in the store are $1 to $3 higher than most other grocery stores. Making a list for yourself and sticking to it are helpful in these instances. As for me, I never shop exclusively at any one grocery store. It all adds up. Happy shopping!

I like going here instead of Walmart because they have a better selection, quality products, and its easy to get in and out of. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because they got rid of their self-checkouts. No one that works there seems to know why. I use to be able to do my own checkout and be done faster than a regular checkout. I also used less bags because I packed my bags more efficiently. One thing that Ive noticed is the regular checkout lines are longer now. Sometimes blocking the main aisle. Id say the wait time is 5-10 minutes longer now than before. They do have a 15 items or less line, but thats hit or miss if you can get through there in a few minutes.

Jason from customer service is always rude and provides a negative experience when my family and I need assistance in that department. He withheld my package to the point where I had to call Fedex, the SM, and district manager. For that experience alone, I will travel the extra distance to the Orland Park location. My family will never be shopping there again.

great deals around holidays and big sporting events. lines get a bit congested during peak hours. and there new quick service lines are not that quick compared to the self serve option they had. if more cashiers were working the quick service line it would go a lot smoother

People who work there are great but they took out the self serve lanes and it takes forever to ring up a couple of items. Not a good move Jewel. At least give them more hours if you are going to take out 5 selfserve lanes.

Shop the sales. Theres almost always something good on sale. Overall, consistently clean, organized, and good service. A little small, but they usually have what I need. Minus a star for the deep ramp on Central Ave.

Its usually very busy and more pricey than other stores. Checkout is still fast and almost never out of stock of anything. Staff is always present and very polite. Parking lot is okay.
