The Best Butcher Shop on the North Shore, or in all of Chicagoland for that matter!! Excellent quality meats of every variety. A large selection of homemade sausages. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Sean who was very passionate about both meats and delivering top quality service!! 6/5 stars!!

I love being able to call a butcher shop, order a brisket, and then drop in and pick it up two days later when Im ready to fire the smoker. Hofherrs is that kind of place. Great fried chicken on the weekends (must call Saturday!) if youre into not cooking on Sunday nights, as well!

The meat you buy here is totally worth it! Comparing the meat from other stores Hofherr meats really taste great! Best service all around and the whole staff are super knowledgeable! This is my go to place! Highly recommend ! Pic is of a flat iron steak! Melts in your mouth!

Fantastic quality, great and knowledge staff, a fantastic addition to our community! Also, the best cheddar brats out there, and the breakfast sausages are just as delicious. They have great ideas for any occasion, from the formal dinner to the camping cookout!

Awesome spot. Lots of grass-fed beef. But my absolute two favorite stand-outs were their homemade corned beef and the homemade chili. I have never had better corned beef or chili in my life. Go get this NOW!
