This store really surprised me excellent selection of all games, they even had quite a few PS3 and Xbox 360 games, as well as Vectrex games. Btw I actually saw a Vectrex for sale something you just dont see everyday. Although the different kinds of consoles they had were small their prices are more than fair $39.99 for a Dreamcast. Also the biggest selection of PSP games I seen at any store period. But not just PSP, 2600, 5200, 7800, NES, N64 you name it they have a pretty good selection even Gameboy and GBA games. Overall: Selection excellent, staff friendly, I will even go as far as to say if your looking for a game and your in the area check them out first...I wish I did, but I wont make that mistake the next time.

I think that this is a great store with a few problems that could be fixed. But lets start with the positives first. First, they have a really good selection of systems, accessories, and games there. And they are usually at a decent price. And, every system you buy there, works great! They even have some obscure reproduction cartridges, such as Mega Man: The Wily Wars. But, there is one downside to this store that can be a turnoff for some. That is that the staff can either be amazing or assholes. Luckily, most of them are good. Sometimes, they will check the back if you ask for a game, and sometimes, they dont. But, thats the only real complaint I can give, so I recommended checking this place out!

Let me start out by saying that if you are looking for a place to by current generation games, this may not be exactly what you are looking for, though their selection is not bad. If you are looking for games for any older generation console, this is the place to go. They have games for the popular consoles such as playstation, N64, SNES, NES, dreamcast, genesis and obscure consoles such as atari jaguar, odyssey 2 and more. My friend almost exploded when he saw that they have vectrex games. The one downside, like most video game resale shops, is that they know what they have and they price accordingly.

Great little retro game store. Tons of video games, N64, Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis and so on some games even still in boxes. Most games don’t have boxes. Good prices (at least the stuff I looked at). Old controllers are expensive. They even have a selection of modern new and used games. Good bit of nostalgia going in there with the game systems mounted on the walls. The only down side is they are a bit hard to find at first, because they share a building with Lee Auto Parts (hard to find even if they have a Sonic poster and Atari sign on their window). They even repair consoles and sell old ipods.

This store has many antisocial people working when ever you walk through the door some one just looks up from the desk and goes back to what ever they are doing.Second this store charges a ton of money for games that you can pick up at any other store for way less. And third the owner of this place is very Arrogant,Rude,Cocky,Ignorant, and thinks he is a video game genius. I SUGGEST YOU AVOID THIS PLACE CAUSE IT IS A MONEY TRAP AND A WAIST OF TIME

stayed with a friend in oak park, il recently and we made the trek to norridge to visit this shop. great selection, good prices, etc. i picked up a dreamcast system with a game for $34.99 along with a few very nicely priced games. They had tons of other things Id have loved to pick up but I had to show some financial responsibility. Will definitely be returning to this store.

I was able to find an old, rare capcom controller for Xbox mech simulation games, had a good conversation with owner about plans to convert for PC use. Was in great condition and sold for what they sell for on eBay, except I didnt have to worry about it being damaged in shipping and would be easy to return if it didnt work. Fortunately it worked great.

Well, they have a large selection of stuff for most everything you might be looking for. The downside is that their prices feel a bit inflated, but thats the cost of going to an old fashioned brick and mortar store. Ive been in there 10+ times and every time I go it seems to be the owner and he just makes me feel unwelcome.

The people there are very rude. They dont offer quality service. They just want your money and then they want you out. They tried fixing my system, they said it was fully functional, well guess what they didnt do anything. When I tries to take it back they wantes to charge more money. I will never go there again

I drive past this store on my way to work nights and I finally decided to go there during store hours. It was beyond my expectations, the selection is huge and took me down memory lane. I went there Sunday the 27th and started buying games for my retro system. I would recommend this place to check out.

Place is nice to go to, but very steep in price for good games. Accessories are priced well and its a good place to see if they get rare stuff. But service is good from the workers but the owner needs to cheer up a bit, thats what drives a lot of people away.

i give it a 2 because good quality of games and such but everyone is grumpy and anti-social except for the one tall kid who wears metal shirts, he talks way too much but at least he is polite. he is the by far the most helpful person there.

Is a mix between old school and todays games, going back to even before Atari. The owner may not be a chipper man, but he knows his stuff. I wish the NES games had a larger selection, but overall a good place to get games, old and new.

A great experience. They have everything! The owner behind the counter was very nice and helpful. Answered all my questions and even went into the back (twice!!) to get me games I was looking for. Hope to be back soon.

Its a hit and miss. Some prices are good, some the same youd find elsewhere like GameStop, etc. Not a bad place if you know your prices or what youre looking for, might find something neat.

Unfortunately, years ago the game stops and other major retailers stopping carrying the vintage games and consoles, these guys are letting me relive my childhood at an affordable price.

Nice little store, theyve got a good selection, and the people behind the desk were happy to answer any of my questions. I only wish they had more N64 extension cords.
