My wife is Polish, and this grocery store has a few aisles dedicated to Polish and other foreign foods. This is our "go--to" store very near by when we cant make it to Bobaks or Standard Market. I have found the people to be very nice, courteous, and the cashiers to be quick. The store has just been renovated and is very inviting. After reading the other comments from 2-4 years ago, I guess the store has come a long way and we will definitely continue to shop there.

If you dont mind being treated like dirt, Butera isnt that bad. They have fresh produce and pretty good sales. I typically shop at Jewel where all the cashiers are friendly, which is a stark contrast to getting a sneer and the money yanked out of your hand at Butera. I also noticed on a couple occasions that they put the slowest checker in the express lane. I dont mean the slowest checker in the store, I mean the worlds slowest checker. I think Ill stick to Jewel.

Do your self a favor and SHOP ELSE WHERE! TINLEY PARK is the WORST! 3 times Ive talked to the management about their cashier based rudeness and belittling of customers. Ive shopped here since Eurofresh opened. Now Ill do my shopping else where. Not hard to go across the street. SAD! If Butura is trying to save this business in Tinley,they better to something about their Staff their.

Sale prices from circular are often not posted and have not charged correctly at the register in the past. Also bought bag of avocados, all were rotten by the next morning. Pork neck bones purchased on a Saturday had to be thrown out the next morning - slimy and smelling. I stopped buying anything "fresh" here. There is no value buying cheap if it cannot be eaten.

Absolute garbage. Staff is rude or otherwise unhelpful. The redesign was a horrible idea layout wise. This one woman Denise was particularly offensive when she would take upwards of 60 seconds to finish up her personal conversation and slowly walk to the register. And that is the manager. I would drive out of state before going to Butera.

I ignored Butera Market for two years until a friend took me along. The outside of the store is unimpressing, but the offerings inside were a pleasant surprise. I noticed many unfamiliar, but enticing products that I made a mental note to try in the future. Butera carries Boars Head products and a large choice of Bobs Mill House items.

Butera market is like a Piggly-wiggly in WI like, you even see the pig in some of their ads too. I like their bakery section. There are these amazing turnovers that are coated in raw sugar, so delicious. There is also a really nice isle of ethnic foods from all over the globe.

Its your basic grocery store but has more than you think going into it. Dont expect a Marianos or Wholefoods but rather more of a cheaper alternative to Jewel and Dominicks. They have a vast meat selection (Beef, Lamb, Turkey, Chicken, Steaks, etc.) Pricing is competitive.

Been shopping here for a year or so, its conveniently located and usually not that busy, you just have to watch for expiration dates with the meat, but other than that they have normal frozen and canned items just like Jewel, but a little cheaper.

The prices are really good on everything, meats and packaged foods. I give it 4 stars b/c the fruit/veggies are hit or miss on ripeness. I like fruits/veggies to keep for at least 2 days and Buteras do not for some reason.

Dont like shopping there. They dont look at the line length. They dont keep the store clean. And worse of all when you bring your reusable bags to shop and you say dont put anything in plastic they still do

Definitely visit their liquor section every now and then- theyll have clearance deals going on. Always wondered why they need a clearance on a Jagermeister. Saved ~10$ on a 2L bottle.

Very inexpensive shopping. Beats Jewels Grocery hands down. Hot bar carnita is tasty and the bakery items are delicious. Alot of ethnic spices and foods. Fantastic!!!!
