Pros: TONS of inventory. Cheap. Excellent, brand name, and new items marked 85% or more off. You have to have patience to look through everything though. Plan on spending at least an hour there if youre searching for something in particular. Employees are nice, though there are some communication/language barriers. Cons: Store is dirty. No fitting rooms. Items are sorted by color and there are different sections for regular and plus sizes (though they are not marked as such, you figure it out on your own.) However you do occasionally get mix-ups or mix-ins. Know your sizes and what does and doesnt work for your form. Conclusion: I get ALL my clothes at "Salvo" and it feels great when people say "Thats cute, whered you get it?" and I can say "Salvation Army, for like three bucks." Boom.

I once found Giorgio Armani pants, in my size, for $4.00 there! Amazing! I dont think the employees recognize expensive names, so clothing is priced fairly equal. They also have some beautiful vintage pieces for the home there. Oh, and I believe that Target donates their unsold merchandise directly to this store, so you can find brand new Target clothing or home decor there as well. Once you step into the store, you can unmistakably smell that thrift store stink. But after a few minutes, you get used to it. Its a HUGE store, and a bit disorganized, but if youre willing to dig, you will surely find something or some thing(s) that are worth your while.

Pan Gramercy

They get a lot of decent things here. I like this store a lot. Some of the prices are really dumb, and theyre dreaming. Other stuff is very well priced and well worth the time. As I mentioned in the review for the McHenry Goodwill, there is a nasty re-seller in town. He goes here as well. Read the review for goodwill, ignore him or tell him off. Dont let one jerk customer ruin visiting here for you. Always been able to find decent electronics, clothing, and furniture here. As I type this, I am wearing clothing purchased at this exact store. Very happy with the stuff they get here, and its not terribly hard to look though.

Itnall depends on what youre looking for and how much patience you have. The clothes are not sorted by size. And there is no fitting room. I typically wear a tank top or something easy to pull other shirts over when I shop there. I always find a fair amount of shirts for my five year old here though. Usually dont find many quality household items here but they have a fair selection of books and cds and dvds. Sometimes noisy kids running around too.

i was just there today about 30 min ago and goofy me lefty bag in there but when i went back looking they made little to no effort to see if it was behind counter, the cashier was rude like so many other times i go up there. I try to call to see about getting someone else to look and all it does is ring and ring and ring... Not a good service place....

Its a fun experience to go there! Theres so much to go through there! I like it that I dont have a bunch of employees breathing down my neck offering "help". Found shoes for myself, pants, a work shirt, and a complete punchbowl/with all the glasses for only 10.00! Go there whenever you can!!

Over priced & very disorganized. They categorize clothing by color, who does that?!? Also, we saw some live cockroaches near the furniture on the floor.

Never anything very good or "stand out" there. Other locations take more pride. It is a strip mall. Perhaps dont have a great drop off area

Super dirty, no where to try on clothes(then again why would I want to?) language barrier. Still sometimes get a good find though.

Every week a differant color tag is 1/2 off. The downside is no fitting rooms....have to make sure it will fit before you buy!
