to all that live in the harwood heights area, stay away from this jj peppers! i have never had such bad service in all my 30 years of living in harwood heights. i walked in to buy some lotto tickets and waited at the register for the clerk to get off the phone after he made eye contact with me. i asked him "can you help me"? he pointed at me and said "hold on". i got tired of waiting and left. i believe he is one of the owners there . you would think that the owner would want to help a customer not this one

This place is bad, do not support people who refuse to give you or me a good customer experience. I went in there and wanted to buy a Red Bull. Well he didn't have any in the freezer part of the place that were sugar free (as I only drink those). I noticed that they have a case out on the floor, but was wrapped. Well to get to the point the store clerk was yelling at me because I opened a shrink wrapped 12 or 24 pack of Red Bull (which was going to be opened anyways to go into the freezer.

Witnessed the "owner" refuse service to an African American and tried to defend him and because I defended him I was refused service. Boycott this store.
