Jewel Osco, Your bakery department save the day for my daughters bridal shower this pass Sunday April 17, 2016. We did have a cake ordered from Tonis in Hinsdale and when we got to Tonis to pick it up on Sunday they FORGOT!!! to make the bridal shower cake. LIKE WHAT!!!! My daughter and I were in tears and besides ourselves. So, my daughter in law called your bakery department and explained the situation. Mary a empolyee in the bakery department was working yesterday and told my daughter in law that she will make on fresh cake, decorate it and have it ready within the hour. Mary come through and the cake was beautiful and very tasty. Thank you so much Mary for saving the day. This employee went beyond her duties and made a customer very happy. Please let her know what a wonderful thing she did for my daughter and her bridal shower. M Urlaub

I dont write reviews much but I had to do something. I do my "main" grocery shopping once in two-three weeks. Every second time at least one of my bag gets left by cashier not it in my car. Im a busy man, and cart is usually full so maybe sometimes I dont check what is left by cashier. But this is why you have "packers" right? This is third time this happened in 3-4 months. I just hate when youre unpacking and sorting things and you realize that they missed something and you have to go all the way back to get it again. Uhh. That sucks.

A starbucks recently opened up inside this Jewel and I am so pleased!! None of the starbucks stores within a 15 mile radius had fresh coffee-usually tasted burnt and bitter. The guys working in this starbucks are amazing!! Doug and Anastacio especially are amazing at what they do. They always make an effort to make the drinks specially fresh and to the T! Coffee is never bitter and its Always perfect every time! Thank you guys!! <3

Was humiliated for questioning pricing of something that didnt match the signage vs cash register. Was referred to as "those people" "are horrible" to my back as I walked out. Still wondering what she meant by "those people". Not the first time I was treated terribly at this location. Terrible customer service, even at management level. I guess "those people" like me are not welcome to shop there.

This store is right down the street from my house so Im in here a few times a week. Its a good grocery store. Produce is fresh and the meat is good. Prices are right and sales are frequent. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Lines can get long after work and mid day Sunday but thats pretty standard for grocery stores. I will continue to shop here.

I like this one because it kinda feels like an older Jewel from when I was a kid, but at the same time that means its a little cramped and cluttered now. Their produce isnt the best either. Thats a Jewel problem in general though.

Tried to get help from 2 young men who acted like it was a huge imposition. Constantly out of what I am there to get. Wish there were more competition. Only gave two stars (v. 1) because a very nice cashier checked me out.

Staff is friendly but there are never enough checkout open. Only the service center and one additional lane. They could use an upgrade as well by adding self checkout if they are only going to have one main checkout lane open

Lines are always long and Im kinda getting tired of bagging my own groceries. I would think they would give a discount for doing that especially since Jewel is so expensive anyway. Very short staffed!!

Groceries and bargain hot and ready chicken better than at many fast food restaurants. I strongly recommend parking uphill of the shopping cart corrals.
