I felt this place overstock their veggie and you ended up getting not so fresh veggie as a result more often than not. Safe handling of food may comes to question. I second that there is no customer care. On Sunday 1/31 I bought a jug of 1/2g soybean milk. There is no EXP date on it, but I thought it might be okay. Came home and poured some .... chunk out of it, not liquid as expected! And the bad smell reached to entire kitchen area. This has been WAY outdated! Then I tried to return it the next day and two cashiers said they dont deal with this. Finally a young Hispanic man who dressed poorly refuse to let me return or get a store credit because I misplaced the receipt. I told him none of the jugs has date on them. He said he does not care, no receipt, no return. He said it in a very casual way and carefree style, no conversation about food safety in general and he also said that they dont make the milk. YOU THINK? His last word is something of a horror to me, when I said I will have to tell health department to get involved to make them stop selling EXPIRED milk he said " BRING IT ON!". Wow, I am impressed.

Bad customer service ever ! The manager & cashiers arent doing their job correctly ! They blame customers for signs that they put up ! The situation of mine was that the an item is sold for $4.99 but they told me it wasnt and they wanted proof. So me, my auntie, and mom took a photo of proof & they said customers changed it because they never saw it before . They started arguing and trying to make a point saying customers changed it , so I decided asked for their manager and no one wanted to get the manager for me. The lady who argued with me just said "okay" but ran off for 15 minutes and didnt come back. No manager was there for the situation & all the cashiers just ignored us . I also want inspectures to check up the place because some of the food products smelt and are expired. The beef that I bought from there looked unspoiled, but when opened from the container there was odor of something rotting. Im just in disappointment because Ive never experienced such bad customer service & ignorance of cashiers !

I usually purchase produce n sea food from here often. But i never expected that ill get a bitter experience when i had an issue with one of their products, the only grocery i purchase apart from my regular purchases. I went upto them twice with a hope that my issue will be heard off n i would get convinced. BUT I WAS WRONG. The product was really sick. But the boss, OMG, he was not at all ready to hear from me. from the beginning he was telling the product was the best. he didnt bother to hear from me anymore. I have never seen a person WHO LEAST CARES WHAT A CUSTOMER FEELS ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT AND THEIR SATISFACTION n try to rectify the problem. That was a worst experience i ever had:( So, if anyone feels bad with their product, better stay at home n trash it n continue with ur routine works. Dont waste ur time n money anymore. it wont workout.

Great selection of all types of asian produce & ingredients, snacks, condiments, kitchen utensils, home supplies, etc. They always have ingredients Im looking for. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Anytime Ive asked for help finding ingredients i had trouble locating on my own (i.e tamarind concentrate) the staff has always been great at taking me right to the product. I love wandering through the store as well. There are so many products. Great prices (except some exotic fruits are super pricy)! I really miss the bahn mi sandwich shop the used to be inside here! It was my favorite!! Anyone know if/where they relocated? The store itself is really chilly. The staff is all bundled up in jackets and hats. BRRRRR

Great store, except the last time I stopped in the entire place smelled VERY strongly of BAD rotting fish. You think someone who works here would notice and want to remedy the situation. It was sickening and my husband complained of his nose still burning from the stench even after we left the place.. it really was bad, and we had visited before and while it was tolerable last time it was much much worse on this last visit this past weekend. Be warned if you are sensitive to this sort of thing.

It is a Vietnamese own and good place for asian grocery. But you have to know what you want. Youll be surprise to see the price of noodles and other asian grocery at Woodmans Grocery Store are cheaper and better. Customer Sevice here is bad , very bad and it is a dirty place. Some of fridges and freezers always dark ..?... Very silly and sloppy. How can I find what I want in the dark ...??? ... and ... how do I know it is good ? Good place for Asian grocery ... BUT you must be very selective.

Im very happy to have found this place. It may not be as big as an H-Mart but it has a pretty good fresh veggie section. Also lots of cuts of pork as well as an assortment of fish. Fruits were little limited, but still better than a Pick n Save. Plenty of packaged foods, and the frozen premade section is pretty useful for someone who doesnt cook much. It was pretty cold inside today, but I imagine this is the type of place that will be cold in the winter and hot in the summer

Two primary issues with this place : 1. It is not Sanitary. It is always a mess and it smells from rotting or spoiling goods. The health department needs to take a closer look at this place. 2. Customer Service is lacking. For example, I had a concern there and the woman in charge (she drives the black BMW) - her response to me is that she doesnt care. I was excited when this place first opened. But it has only gone downhill. I wont be going back.

I love Local ethnic stores and when I visited Pacific was excited about concept of such a super size store but agree with all the negatives... Just too much and not enough customers. Food isnt fresh, Place is dirty, smells sour, and staff crabby... was worth a visit but wont be back. There is another store north on 27th st across from Leons Custard which is big enough to have everything, clean and owners very helpful. Thats my go to place from now on

Walk in and immediately regret it, from the doors into the main doors the floors are soaked in a sticky matter, gross mold near the coolers and its horrendously situated. Maybe if they took time to clean and organize this place would be better. But it feels like you walk into a 3rd world country in Asia being sanitary is not one of the priorities.

Quality is not as great. Make sure to check for expiration dates on your items as they are known to sell expire stuff. Stuffs are a bit pricey as well. I dont shop here as often as I did before. This asian grocery store is closer to home but I would rather travel outside my city for quality.

Pretty good place if you want to find some good asian snacks and food. Looks a bit sketchy, but Ive gotten food from there and what not. The people who work there were really nice. Also you might want to know exactly what your looking for in there if you dont read any Asian languages.
