Parking is very limited in the lot north of the building at busy times and on half price day. You can park on the street or on the side streets. As with most crowded places watch your purse. Just wear a crossbody purse. The aisles for clothes are very narrow which can make you a victim for pickpockets. None of this is the stores fault is just is what it is. This store isnt that big and the clothes, bedding, shoes and accessories take up more than 3/4 of the store. No big furniture here maybe a chair or 2. Some books,records,houseware, Pictures frames,toys,dishes and luggage are in one room about middle of the aisles to the left as you enter the building. There is also a display case to the left as you enter. This place can get trashed by the customers and their unattended kids. Its a hit or miss on the prices. I usually just shop here for Mid Century Modern collectibles and you can find some great deals. Most of the stuff is priced to move. They have colors of the day that are half price and white is usually full price unless its a half price day. Some days they also have special pricing on specific colors such as get 3 for 1 or spend a specific amount and get a certain amount off your total. Sometimes It can be confusing so read the signs at the front of the store. They dont have any signs in the back room that show what colors are half price. They used to have them up on the wall but now you have ask someone. They are posted only near the front and on the opposite side of the building. Good time to go is around 11 to 2 during the week and 2 hours before they close during the week and weekends. The day before a half day sale is a good time to go as well because customers hide the best stuff around the store to buy for half price later. Happy hunting and also bring your own bags or purchase theirs.

I really do enjoy the place. In a perfect world things will be sorted according to size.. specially the shirts. Not sure why they dont have this system in place but I would love to walk in a go directly to the section I need rather than spend half my day digging for my size.

One of cashiers, young tall hispanic girl with glasess, is racist! Once she kicked me out of line telling its closed even though she kept working, serving other customers, who came in line after me. Second time when I was at store, she spoke with me only Spanish.

They recently renovated the inside, so its 5X nicer than most Village Discounts in Chicago. People come from pretty far to get to this store because the selection is really good. During half-price days it gets pretty crowded.

i love this store, but its so messy, the employees are horrible, if they know you or wanna sleep with you, theyll give you the half price. Also secret shoppers are obvious.

Not as big as the Village Discount on 26th… but definitely worth a visit. Still managed to fill a cart — especially since it was 50% off everything the day I went.

Lots of stylish stuff at bargain prices. If you have an eye for whats in style you can put together outfits that look like you shop on Mag Mile! But ya gotta dig.
