I ALWAYS find something good here, but I find that they are usually short-staffed, leading to long register waits. The staff are also not very helpful, and they dont seem to care about their customers. For example, if you are looking to see something behind the counter, youll usually have to wait a good 5-10 minutes for someone to acknowledge/help you. Also, there is a borderline dangerous man who is here constantly. He got into a screaming fit with one of the employees, who called the police on him. To my surprise, this same man was there on another recent visit of mine, and he deliberately ran over my foot with a shopping cart. Im not sure why this troublemaker isnt banned from the store. My roommate says she has also seen him there many times, hitting himself in the head with a puzzle. It doesnt really make for a safe or pleasant shopping experience to be around someone like this, and the store owners dont seem to care.

The worst thrift store on the north side to walk into. Its dirty, unorganized and small. Space is tight. After all these years of business you would think the owners would put some modernization money into it, or move to a bigger place. You can find some "steals" but its like looking through a haystack. I only go on the 1/2 off days.

Tons of clothes (womens 50% kids 30%, guys 20%), common sizes may be hard to find. Not a lot of furniture, but they keep many small goods, cookware, and other stuff in good condition behind a counter and nicely displayed. Great for quick browsing and preventing damage from in store handling.

Bought a Black & Decker 12" Convection Oven for $4, (sticker said only $8 but everything was 1/2 price yesterday). Its digital like a microwave so my meals come out perfect. Everytime I go there I find things I really need and for a great price.

This store has some nice stuff but the female assistant Manager is very racist against blacks. She is terrible and to think that this is happening in a thrift store from an immigrant who barely have her green card is very appalling.

Not my favorite location but I come here often. The staff is aloof and thats fine. Selection is pretty good however, they do that annoying thing where they decide that some pieces are "special" and charge way too much for them.

Lots of stuff to choose from, too much in such a small place, hardly any room to move. Very reasonable price. Youll find great deal, some are still brand new with original tags. Must have patience to sort through everything.

They had a huge selection but you would really have to have a lot of time because it was all packed in really tight however the prices for a phenomenal the clothing is really good but their parking is not that great

Great prices, decent quality. There are days of the week which give discounts to colored tags. They accept cards and cash. I picked up 2 pairs of like-new gap pants for $6 each. And a nice pair of shoes for $7.

My wife shops here at least once a week. Gets a lot of really Good and often New clothes as well for literally pennies-on-the-dollar. Friendly Staff, always a busy place with good space in aisles.

Hit and a miss place. Prices are sky high if staff think it is unique. A bag of Daiso like products (Dollar store from Japan) shouldnt cost more than a pair of shoes and coat combined.

A lot of merchandise, but things are all over the floor making it near impossible to use a cart/stroller. There are some real rude customers here too. Look out on big sale days.

This may be the best thrift store in Chicago. Its even way better than their much bigger store on Milwaukee. The staff are mostly from India and Nepal. They are totally cool.
