I approached a clerk, since I had two package of a specific size brass but need at least 10 packages. I ask the clerk if she had more in stock, her DRY response: "What you see on the shelve is what we have." I followed by asking if she could verify if other stores carried this specific size, which she agreed, I SHOULD NOT BE ASKING, A GOOD CLERK ALWAYS HELP THEIR COSTUMER FIND WHAT THEY NEED. By looking through the system, she realized that there was more then 10 packages in a box right over the brass section. IF THIS ISNT LAZY ASS CUSTOMER SERVICE, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT IS. I also brought with me a tool which I had bought a few weeks prior. I was not satisfied with the product since the blade was dulling and braking. This is a product I have used in the past, boss and colleges uses the same product and I had never this tool deteriorate so quickly. I ask the clerk if they could replace the product. They refuse and blamed it on my use of the tool. I HAVE BEEN SPENDING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN YOUR STORE IN THE PAST YEARS. YOU CANT EVEN BE LOYAL TO YOUR COSTUMER? YOU CANT AFFORD TO LOOSE $20 TO REPLACE A BROKEN PRODUCT AND SATISFY YOUR COSTUMER? I WILL NEVER BE SHOPPING IN YOUR STORE . EVER AGAIN. INSTEAD OF LOOSING $20, YOU ARE LOOSING HUNDRED OF DOLLARS AND LOOSING MY RESPECT. POOR SERVICE. SHAME ON YOU.

Recently wandered by during a back-to-school buy 20 canvasses get 70% off sale. This seems to be a regular item for the stores so be mindful around school times. Anyway, convenient location near enough to the red line, but also reasonable for driving and has a parking lot (good when you buy 20 canvasses). They have all the paints, inks/pens, and other studio items you normally need. A lot of specialty items as well. A courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Framing department.

All the art things you can ever need in the same place. They offer great value and steep discounts for high quality supplies. Yes, I buy all my art supplies here. The staff is always friendly AND knowledgeable. No, this is not a craft store. So if youre looking for paper punchers, stickers, ribbons etc. Look else where. Youll find canvas, paints, brushes, eadles, print making supplies and things of that sort here. LOOOOOOVE this place!

The staff couldnt be more friendly. I came into the shop looking for gifts for my artistic brother. They helped me find exactly what I needed and suggested brands based on quality and reputation. Ive shopped there in the past for things like photo frames and they have a wide selection. They also offer custom framing. All in all its a great shop for artists of all kind.

This is, hands down, my favorite Blick in Chicago. The staff are knowledgeable and courteous. I was asked quite a few time if I "was finding everything alright?". They are always well stocked and willing to place an item on hold for the customer, even if the items on clearance! An added bonus is the parking space, which the Blick stores downtown dont have.

This place is amazing! Even though Im not artistically inclined, the smiley and helpful staff is always kind enough to explain paint, glue, and dye basics to me for the umpteenth time. They also have cute little gifts for kids and friends ranging from stationary to earbuds shaped like monkey heads. Very cool!

I could spend hours in this store. As an artist, they have pretty much everything I could ever want (and I do want it all). They have a great variety of acrylic paints and their selection of canvas are fantastic. And being the color fanatic I am, I appreciate their Pantone products. :)

Great service from Sonya helping us get the drafting tools we NEEDED right away. Hard to imagine a drafting emergency, but we had one. Sonya knew the store and pulled our stuff together for us; like that a designer meltdown averted. Thanks to Blick LP store.

They charge $70 to cut a 20 inch mat for a picture frame. I dont know if they normally do that or they just double their prices when they have 50% off coupons. But thats what it was before the coupon was applied. Its a scam.
