The place is a great stop for surplus items. Im not sure what the other users are finding wrong with the place. The guy who owns it is a veteran, but I wont claim to know what branch of the military. Some of the items are a bit cheesy, like disarmed ammunition as "desk ornaments" but in terms of clothing quality, there is a lot. The coats are of a nice quality, and a few of the pea coats are durable enough to handle the coldest autumns in Chicago. The selection of knives is nice, although a bit pricey. I recommend this store over Belmont Army because the selection is better and it ISNT a hipster hotspot...

I went in and check on an M9 bayonet and should have bought the used one they had that day. The next time I stopped by they had changed the price on it by $50 and the salesman I had worked with denied the whole thing and lied to me about it. These guys are jerks and the worst salesmanship you will ever experience. Rude, unfriendly and dishonest. Avoid this place like the plague.

Love this store! Prices are beyond reasonable and the customer service was awesome. I went there to purchase buttons for a vintage military coat and was surprised at the selection they had to choose from. I will be going back to purchase a jacket and a vintage military backpack.

This is by far my new favorite store online. The boots were perfect, and I even got a little silly and ordered a mystery pouch pack. Best idea ever, I didnt realize how much I love surprises. Its like getting presents without the guilt of having to buy someone a present in return.

I ordered an aircraft survival vest several months ago. Not in the greatest shape, but understandable. I ordered 5 ponchos. 2 are unserviceable, the other 3 poor condition. I dont expect new, but I expect serviceable. Wont order from them again.

Excellent Service, has the most extensive selection of Army Navy Surplus in the Chicago Land Area. Everything from Camouflage Clothing to WWII collectible knives. A great place to find stuff for Airsoft, Paintball, and overall Military Fashionware.

By all accounts, this is a great store. Unfortunately, it is located in a neighborhood with horrendous traffic and they are only open bankers hours. Buy online or find a store with a better location.
