TOP NOTCH customer service!!!! I was traveling from the Janesville, WI area to OHare Airport (about 2 hours from home for me) when I got TWO flat tires late in the afternoon. By the time the tow truck arrived and towed me to the shop, it was after their posted closing time by about 10 minutes or so. TONY (Tony is a manager, but the technicians deserve an equal amount of credit for staying late as well, unfortunately I did not get their names), anyways without hesitation, they were willing to get me taken care of on the spot and back on the road with smiles on their faces. They could have tried to take advantage of me and sold me their most expensive tires knowing that I had no other options, but instead presented me with ALL of my options, starting with the least expensive option catering to the fact that this was an unexpected "emergency" situation. I cannot say enough about these guys and the way they treated me during this event. I wish every team was as dedicated to winning at customer service as these guys. If they were not so far away from home for me, they would have earned my business permanently. GREAT JOB GUYS!! YOU SHOULD BE PROUD!!

Longtime customer of discount tire. In the past Ive received top notch service and pricing that kept me coming back. This place, however... this place! The wheels have fallen off. As far as pricing goes, the guys are fine to deal with. They try and adjust pricing to stay competitive. Thats a real plus (only reason, in fact, they didnt get just one star). After that though, things get rough. stuff doesnt work that worked 30 mins prior to the service. "oh those dont last sir. Must have just been ready to go. I tell you what, Ill do the whole set of TPMS sensors for just a couple hundred dollars." "well, i guess so. they are a few years old now." Tire rotation: "that will just be a minute sir." Two hours later.... Come in for warranty repair service, sure one free tire (there are a few fees actually - nothing is free). Might as well do two so the other matches. Oh, only $660 to mount a match?! Thats almost what i paid for all four. Are you kidding me? "Just one tire then, sir? Ok. that will be about a half hour." two hours later... Man, this place use to be great. Now, the stealership is actually starting to be a viable option! i could go on...

I had a frustrating experience with this location. I called ahead and was told by Tony there was no waiting to fix a flat tire. It ended up taking 1.5 hours. The car sat for 30 minutes in the parking lot. They pulled it in when I complained. It sat another 15 minutes before they jacked it up. They started taking off the wrong tire. I had to go into the garage to point out the screw protruding from the tire. While it took another 20 minutes to fix the flat, three guys came around to check the air in my other tires. One hand doesnt know what the other is doing here. When it was finally done, someone found me to tell me they found a screw in my tire. Gee, thanks. Oh, and I had purchased the tires at this location three weeks earlier. I agree with other posters here, avoid this location.

I need to give a huge shout out to Scott the general manager at Discount Tires in Carpentersville. I am here getting new rear tires put on, he noticed my front tires were almost bald, he said he would give me a deal on 2 new tires for 150$ i said no, i cant afford that right now, he says well.... i cant let ya leave here with those bald tires. He continues typing on his keyboard, flips the monitor around and says "heres what im gonna do for you, do you like these tires?" I said yeah there nice. "Well im gonna give you these two tires no charge, its on me." ARE YOU KIDDING?! The nicest thing ever!!! Paid for 2, got 4 brand new flippin tires!! Im stoked!!! Anyone who needs new tires come here and talk to Scott!!!!

I needed my tires rotated on my 14 Accord and had been going to Just Tires in Carpentersville, IL. That store suddenly went out of business so I went across the street to Discount Tire. The manager, Scott, said they would do my scheduled tire rotations for FREE. I asked how they could possibly do the service for free. He said Id eventually need new tires and hed like to earn my business. Great business model! Ive been back a few times now. Even when the line is out the door, the staff is courteous. The service techs are efficient and they greet you with a smile when they return your keys. More businesses should provide this type of positive customer experience. A little goes a long way.

I usually take our cars for any auto services etc..recently, i was not available to take the tire to get it fixed myself after switched it out with the spare tire, so my wife took her suv to get her that one tire patched up, and they tried to up sale her. I spoke to the clerk on the phone and he was insistent on giving us higher end tire.I asked for other options, he provided another one for 100 less..so here we are with 250 or 350, i told my wife to leave and go to firestone since we always get it from there..on her way out, the fellow decided to offer another tire for 150. Suddenly, this other option just popped up! maybe its just timing, but definitely not going there at all.

Ive been a Discount customer for many years at other locations. Went to this location because my daughters car had a slow leak in the right front time. After waiting I was told the leak was in the side wall and couldnt be repaired. They told me I had to buy new tires. Ive repaired sidewall leaks in the past. I said to remount the tire and I would go. They said they wouldnt. I said put on the spare, they said they wouldnt because it was to old. I said push it out in the parking lot and Ill call AAA. Then they remounted the tire and damaged the lugs. I had the tire patched elsewhere. AVOID this place.

Excellent second set of tires here soon a 3rd. Tony and Scott were great. This last time I brought in my car they were busy and still had my new tires mounted balanced and out the door within a short time. Bonus while waiting there were free donuts coffee and bottled water. So along with the free air anytime, pull up they air up. Free flat repairs and more.I will be coming here for my tire needs for sure. P.S. With so many 4 and 5 star reviews I dont know how the few neg reviews came about but IMO sometimes you need a bit of patience especially with a busy shop. Thanks Discount crew Bill J.

Ive never written a review before but I feel like this is a must! Scott the store manager was very nice to me and very patient! I was unaware that my tires were unserviceable (because they were bald) when I asked to get my leak fixed. He was concerned about my safety and helped me pick out a nice set of tires for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got the laufenn tires made by hankook which I am very happy with! Im all set for winter now! Thank you guys for everything! Ill be back and I recommend discount tires especially this location to anyone and everyone looking for new tires. -Bruce
