I was on my way to my prenatal visit at 34 weeks pregnant when I noticed my car had a tire that was very low. I called and was told I could come by and they would be able to assist me in putting air in my tire as I cant get down there to do it any more. I did have to wait a while to be assisted as they were quite busy but once my turn assistant manager Andy Garbis walked out to my car and checked the pressure in my tire for me. Unfortunately for me it was to low to be filled and needed to be replaced, this was not looking good for me. I was already in a rush to my appointment as Ive had complications in the past I couldnt reschedule with my doctor. Not to mention I am currently unemployed so this could not be a worse time for me as I wasnt able to purchase a tire for my car. Andy and the staff were so generous and understanding of my time of need and took care of me at no cost to me. Andy stated my safety and the safety of my child was more important than the cost of the tire. They pulled my car in, replaced the tire, aired up the rest of my tires for me, and sent me on my way safely with in 30 min!!!! I am so blessed they were able to help me and I want every one to know how great the entire staff is there especially Andy Garbis! He should get employee of the month for his kindness and generosity. I highly recommend this discount tire to any one in need of tires. I have visited other discount tires in the past and have always been treated less than average. I soon wont forget the staff and how they helped this lady in her time of need!

Do not bring wheels you care about here. I watched them drop every single wheel they took off on its back, and every time you could hear the crash of aluminum right onto concrete, and I watched them use vise grips to try and remove my rubber valve stem, and now the powder coating is completely scratched off around it. This place is good for nothing more than minimum budget junk you dont care about. 4 different people came in during the 45 minutes I was there from having thrown wheel weights. I anticipate having to go in with the same issue soon. The only positive was that they are friendly, but that doesnt do any good for $1000 worth of tires and my messed up wheels. Pay a little more and go somewhere that isnt literally a bunch of careless high schoolers. If you dont believe me, just watch them through the window while you wait.

This place is absolutely incredible. Super professional, friendly, and do great work. From the moment you walk in you feel like youre in good hands. The guy who helped me was pleasant and professional and joked around with me which eased some of the stress that comes with having to rearrange your day to deal with an unexpected flat tire. I came in here with a flat in one of the brand new tires I had just purchased from them 6 months ago. The tire wasnt repairable due to having a large cut in the side of it. I didnt buy the warranty at purchase since I didnt feel I needed it (I clearly did!). To my surprise they were able to let me pay for the warranty and have that cover the repair instead of just replacing the tire, so I dont have to deal with this again in the future. I will always come here for my tire needs!

I get a nail in my tire on my way to dropping my sons off at a nearby gym. I notice the hiss when I drop them off so I hustle right on over to Discount Tire. I pull in and find its 15 minutes after closing. Oh well. So there in the parking lot I start to get out my jack and spare tire because the tire will be flat before I get home. The next thing I know the guy who was just finishing closing the shop is coming out to talk to me. He says just give him a few minutes and hell fire up the compressors and fix my tire. 15 minutes later the tire is fixed and back on my car. I try to offer him some money for the overtime effort and he says "no sir; we fix flats for free". That is amazing service! (BTW, I see this is being posted under my sons name, but this is actually Ted Pounds.)

The crowded D.T store on a Saturday morning looked intimidating and worrisome at first , but seeing the reps in action quickly relieved the stress of an otherwise dreadful experience. I was greated by Drew with sincerity and professionalism. The level of customer service and kindness of these professionals is second to none. Not only do they talk to you like a person and not a dollar sign, but they are extremely thorough in making sure you have the tools to make an educated decision. Do not waste your time comparing prices, not only does D.T have great pricing, but fantastic service which is worth more than potentially saving a few bucks somewhere else. Thanks to all the boys at Discount Tire in Algonquin for an incredible tire buying experience!

During a cold snowy weekend my tire went flat. My husband took it off my car and we took it in to Discount Tire. It was pretty crazy, especially being one hour until close. We talked to the Senior Asst. Manager and he came out to look at the tire. He agreed it was in good condition and that the stem was warped. He said come back in couple hours itll be good as new. I asked how much that would cost. He said dont worry about it..Merry Christmas. Having had a rough six months, with constant bad news..I was so moved by his generosity I cried. Never under estimate the act of kindness from another. Thank you Discount Tire! Youve gained a customer for life.

Great service!!! I had an issue one time where I had gotten a nail in my tire. It took them about 20 minutes to get it patched up, they checked the air in all of my tires and just handed me the keys without even charging me. That was in my little Kia. Then a few months later my mom had to have new tires put onto her Jaguar. They gave us a special discount and it was just under 100 per tire and for a Jaguar that isnt bad at all. Today I have my 99 Suburban that I have to take in and get tires for and I will be going over there

The best prices and the best customer service. Ive been coming to Discount Tire in Algonquin for a few years now and I have a great experience every time. They special ordered 33" BF Goodrich KO2s for my Jeep and they were at the store in less than a day. I wanted to take my old tires back home after the install and they bagged them up for me for the ride home. Had a couple brief phone calls with Drew Smith and he was very helpful. Ill keep coming back for forever.

I visited Discount Tire in Algonquin for the first time yesterday due to a flat tire. The service I received from start to finish was amazing! Andy G. was fantastic. He was timely, customer service driven, and wonderful at following up. My experience was top notch! I hopefully wont have to return any time soon, but would be more than willing to do so. My turn around time from beginning to end was unbelievable, and so appreciated with two small children in tow.
