This is a small neighborhood store. Staff is comprised of college kids and high-schoolers for much of the work force. Ive always found it to be more than adequate, and weve been going to this store for over 10 years. Prices are definitely high, but food prices are high everywhere- particularly if youre looking for organic of something of that nature. Regarding the comments about rude employees, its been my experience that people respond better to encouragement than criticism. Im guessing that those folks that feel others are rude to them may well be pretty impatient and rude themselves. At any rate, Ive no complaints against the Bethalto Schnucks and Im glad I dont have to drive to another town to get the things I need. Thank you.

Staff is rude and unhelpful. Hardly any lanes ever open which means popping by for a few items turns into a twenty minuet stand at the counters. If you ever go to the customer service counter the employees stand over by a desk talking on cell phones, talking to each other, or sitting in a chair. It takes 5 minuets to get service even when they see you from the beginning. And dont get me started on prices. Ever hear a schnucks commercial? "I THINK Im getting the best price." "I FEEL that I save money." The prices are out of control. This store wont last long unless something changes quick.

Excellent service on the day before Mothers day. Other florists in area were out of flowers or couldnt deliver flowers or had some other excuse. The woman on the phone was kind, had excellent customer service and delivered the flowers herself as she lived close to where the flowers were being delivered - hows that for going the extra mile for the customer. I wont ever call other florists in the area to deliver flowers to my mom!

After getting a cancellation phone call from "Blooms" regarding flowers to a funeral wake, I called Sherri at Schnucks who was able to take my order on MEMORIAL DAY!!! and deliver it to a wake an hour and a half later. This is the gold standard in customer service.. Thank you Sherri

this is the only place to get chicken gizzards cause walmart dont cook it no more. prices of the grocery is high but food is getting higher now

The only complains Ive ever had were with the slow or rude baggers. Its always been the teenagers working who were ever a problem.
