There was an inadvertent advertisement for a 55 inch Vizio display, but they were actually selling the 50 inch. I asked the Electronics guy David if they would honor the advertisement. David was upset at his error, no doubt distracted by his recent failure to pass the Geek Squad entrance exam. David was rather abrasive and smug about the whole bait and switch error. His "Good day sir... I said good day sir" attitude did not sit well with me, nor did his insistence on shaking my hand limply. I asked about 10 employees who all said they should honor the advertised price. The manager, Linda, was nice enough to explain very slowly and concertedly that I was simple and that they will only honor a mismarked item if the price is located directly underneath said item. Her insistence that geography was the main component of bait and switch operations was convincing and thorough, and I commend her ability to improvise Walmart policy so effortlessly, like watching Wayne Brady in verse on Whos Line Is It Anyway. Walmart should honor an advertised price, regardless of where is located. Because of this and other strikingly similar errors Ive seen at this location, I cannot recommend shopping here and especially do not think you should purchase big box items here. If you must shop here, be extremely careful that they are not trying to sell you inferior items. But if you prefer not to be talked down to by Neckbeard the Pirate and Thursday night Policy Hero, shop somewhere else. Target, where people pay a little more to not have to shop at Walmart.

Amanda one of the managers went above and beyond. My fiancé and myself went all over town looking for a tv stand, after several visits to different store we picked Walmart. After going to all Walmart in rockford did not have them, or they needed the sku to find the item in the back. Came to this Walmart in hope of the tv stand being here we asked an associate and informed me the same information about the sku which isnt provided online. The associate asked for a manager which was Amanda and after showing her the item to her she was able to find it in the store inventory.. Which was in the back she informed me at the moment she didnt have anyone to get the item for me but she would call me as soon as they pulled it out. As informed she contacted me with in 2 hours informing me the item was available for pick up. I have never gotten this kind of experience like this at any Walmart. So thanks to Amanda this google review is well deserved......

One of the better Walmarts around, but not the best. The ones in Loves Park and Roscoe seem to be more organized and run slightly better. Still better than the E. State Rockford location though. Unfortunately though, the E. State store has a slightly better selection in some areas, but the Belvidere location wins on olive oil. There are 40 different kinds (and sizes) of organic olive oil. Yes I said FOURTY!! And thats just the ORGANIC olive oil. Amazing. Ive never seen such a thing! Overall, an excellent location. Its great to have a Dunkin Donuts in this Walmart too. Great to do some shopping, and have a cup of coffee too!

Wanted to get a whole 12 pack of angry orchard ale and was told by the clerk I could not have it because I smelled like alcohol....not her job and I will not spend the 300 a week to purchase groceries for my family that I have in the past! I went next door to the gas station and got the same 12 pack for 1.00 less...no questions. We wont spend money at wal mart but will go next door to target! Not a good business practice to decide who can buy alcohol or not....let the cops figure it out, sorry you have lost 1200 dollars a month. Hope you dont lose more and Im sure you can keep selling foreign products to hillbillies.

I enjoy the good employees but cant seem to find the products because either the people that allocate products cant get it together and shelves stand empty or the home office has decided to cancel the product. This store is in a different regional area that services Huntley and what we want doesnt matter. Frustrating, to say the least! I have had to take business elsewhere. The manager tries hard to help but if out of touch regional doesnt like it we suffer!

The store is very pleasing and the associates are friendly. I went in search of a vacuum and needed some help figuring which one to buy. Foad, an assistant manager I believe was more than helpful. I was pleased that I didntt just get pointed in the direction of the vacuums,but was taken to them and he stayed to answer my questions and give advice. Very knowledgable.

Horrible service in the Deli and lawn mowers hanging off a box 4 ft off the groung with the handel hanging in a main aisle.ill never take my kids in this deth trap.gotta go back to return rotten oranges then im going to Myers where the produce is good and the service is better.sorry walmart but im not

My autistic daughter tried to get a dragon out of the gumball machine and the machine just ate three quarters. I tried to cheer her up by getting her a gumball and the machine ate that quarter too. She has been crying for twenty minutes. I will never be going to the Belvidere Walmart again.

The lady in electronics today, unfortunately didnt catch her name, at 110pm June 14 2017 was awesome. She went out of her way to find a tablet I was looking for. This is an awesome service that will make me come back over and over. Thank you souch

Always find the coolest unexpected items here.. price matches are always guaranteed, and their savings catcher on the walmart app is amazing. It has decently helped save a lot of money for me and is super easy as you only have to scan your recipt.

One of the best Walmarts in the area. Compared to a pit like the DeKalb store this one is great. Products are well stocked. The employees are helpful. There seems to be a higher number of checkout lanes open than typical for Walmart.

We specifically drive to this Walmart because the Rockford Walmart is usually very busy. You are still going to have many people in this store, but the issues associated with shopping at Walmart seem less at this location.

Not the best selection of products. But service has improved in the last few months. Every employee I come across greets me and if I look as if I cant find something, they are more proactive in asking if help is needed.

Unique. Like all Walmarts after 8pm the clientel is very interesting and you never know what might walk through the door. But besides that the customer service was helpful and the store was very clean and tidy.

Little rougher crowd at this WalMart, especially if you got later at night. Dirty and expect to see kids just hanging out in the parking lot just wasting time. Guess its the place to be in Belivedere?
