I shop here often !!! Good: 1. Very good competitive prices. 2. Regular prices of Milk, Bread, Butter, Banana, Salt, Sugar is less that any other store in the area. 3. Small store & neatly arranged. We can be in and out in quickly once we know the store and know what we want. 4. Now they accept credit cards too (even AmEx). Though the prices are going up since then. 5. Everything is pre-weighed and barcoded or priced on quantity rather than weight. So faster checkouts. 6. Has everything for daily needs, regular grocery, kitchen items, garden items etc. Bad (No much though): 1. Very less employees. Sometimes we need to wait to checkout as there may not be even a single cashier. 2. Shopping Carts - need 25 cents deposit which we get back on returning cart. (Not that bad, but hate it in winter). 3. Since everything is pre-weighed, we have no choice to change bad produce & have to accept it as is. 4. Do not carry common brands - I am totally okay with it. 5. We need to bag our own grocery. Bags are not free either. Thought not costly - 6cents/bag.

I recently shopped at Aldi on 3925 Lien Road in Madison, WI and I have to say they were very rude. As a shopper there we bag our own grocery. I did leave broccoli and chicken behind; when I returned to the store promptly to retrieve my items the broccoli was in a box with some other items that appeared to be in a return box. The chicken was not there but it was clear that was my broccoli. I said something to the checkout girl as I didnt want to just take it. The girl who checked me out was on break or something and nobody seemed to know anything, they were not helpful and made me feel like I was lying. The manager I am assuming that is who she was- also very very rude and said to me well you are responsible for bagging your own groceries...Ok I get that so I left my Aldi bags and left the store and went somewhere else to purchase my 2 items. They were rude, not sorry and not at all helpful. I will never shop there again.

I really like Aldis bit Im upset with them for no longer carrying the 4pk chicken pot pies. They were the best! Other than that my only complaint would be that every now and then theres a careless checker that whips the food in the cart to fast so some cans are dented. Not too often does that happen. Some of their meats injected with solution for flavor so I have to look at the label carefully. They carry a wonderful variety of quality food and even some non-food items at a bargain price. The prices are the best!

The prices arent low enough to justify the poor quality or inconveniences. Ive come across items past their expiration date, particularly dairy products. And the inconvenience of needing coins to use the rediculously giant carts, maneuvering said giant cart, then having to do the bagging yourself on basically a window ledge makes it more hassel than its worth. And really, youll spend less on higher quality at better stores if you just use coupons or a rebate app and pay attention to sales.

I absolutely love shopping at Aldi! Im able to get most everything I need, and the prices are always low for great quality products. The selection is smaller and some of the products are rotated out or seasonal - they do offer a great selection of German products which I enjoy as I am used to shopping at Aldis in Germany. I recommend bringing reusable bags as you bag your own items, and a quarter if youd like a shopping cart!

After shopping here for a few years, it is time to write a review. I LOVE the concept of the 25 cent shopping cart, you receive it back upon returning the cart/basket) Ive watched this little store expand from just dry goods, then to dairy, fresh meats and now to beer & wine.I like the prices! Also while shopping, I look for a box to put my groceries in as there is no bags supplied. Sold yes, supplied NO. Which is OK w/me

I save 70$ a week over capital centre and eat much more nutritiously and deliciously. It such a good deal because they sell their own brands that are quite similar to the icons. Such a small store has so much. Its inexpensive also because theres no costumer service. Diy shopping. Usually two people take care of this store completely. Woodmans if you dont like shopping.

I have to give this place 5 stars. I came when they had just closed a minute ago, and the man opened the door and told me I could come in if I just needed something real quick. Lets face it, theres few other places that would even acknowledge a customer coming to the door after close, let alone allow them in.

It has more non gmo, gluten free and organic options than ever!!!! And I still walk away with money in my pocket. Just remember cash, debit or foodshare are the only payments, and a quarter for the cart, which you get back when you return it. Also you do have to pack your own groceries.

Aldis saves me time and money. Product is fresh and not having a dozen choices or so much in the store saves money. I like that they are now stocking brand names in a select line of different products because I wont use generics in some things!!

Its not great for everything every time. Like sometimes they just wont be carrying something they had before. It is a great place to find deals periodically though, and certain things are always a great deal at Aldi.
