There are never enough manned cash registers. Typically only three or four even during busy hours. Self checkouts also have about four machines out of order with papers permanently taped to them saying "No cash, card only". Theyve recently put up CCTV camera displays in every other aisle to prevent theft, and put regular merchandise behind glass cases, but there are never any employees around to open the cases. They removed all of the price check machines, so now you have to take items to a register to check the price and get the transaction voided. Are they really that concerned about theft that they would treat every shopper like a criminal? Soda and liquor aisles are always minimally stocked and they are frequently out of products I came to the store to get. Soda boxes are damaged and liable to spill cans everywhere. The electronics section and front by the checkouts usually have pushy salespeople trying to sell me Comcast or AT&T. I recommend shopping here if you like being treated like a criminal, not finding the thing you came for, being advertised to, waiting in line for 15 minutes staring at 20 empty aisles, and then going to Target to get the thing they didnt have.

While shopping for ingredients to make bath bomb a for my daughter we had an awful experience. We asked eight people for help finding the ingredients and no one was willing to walk with us to show us where a couple of the items were (citric acid & Epsom salt). One guy even had his head phones on one ear but not the other and when I said "hello can you help me, hello?" He just ignored me! I really hope the store manager takes a peak at video footage and sees the reality of his workers. I had to go to customer service and ask for a manager...the manager was the only one behind the desk so she couldnt help me either. Luckily she called a nice young lady name Adrean and she was more than willing to walk with me to the isles where the products were. This lady needs a raise! I spent almost 45 minutes in the store trying to ask these people to help me as well as trying to find the items myself but Adrean found them within a few minutes. My daughter and I were very pleased and she made our evening a great!!! I want to make sure the store manager sees this review as she deserves a praise, more people need to be like her that are hired on. -Danielle

I lost my receipt. I know. My fault. But when I went to return my food items, all packaged and never opened, they refused my return. They said that if I had food stamps, I could return it on my card. I said that you are punishing me for not having food stamps and loosing my receipt. This makes no sense! I read their return policy and no where did it say anything about not having a receipt and trying to return unopened food. I informed them that I have read their policies and their response was we dont have to post all of our policies. We would run out of room if we did. It is our right to not post all store policies. I told them that it is unacceptable for such an "important" store policy, they should make customers aware of it. I then told them that all I wanted was store credit. I didnt even want my credit card refunded. After I told the manager that another store "policy" was complete customer satisfaction, (this was printed on a sign above his head) I wanted to get a store credit. Just to shut me up, he gave me the store credit. I then spent an additional $25 on that specific visit! Walmart, I will not be returning.

Rating is "Hated It" - and while hate is a pretty strong word, it fits perfectly with my experience. Went in mid February for an oil change and new air filter...that was my first mistake - trusting the king of cheap with my car. After picking up the car, drove to meetings in Chicago while the car suddenly began idling and running very erratically. Ran fine prior to the oil change. First call back to Wal-Mart and the mechanic suggests that its "coincidental". Brought car back in, and after management involvement and a couple of hours wasted time, they determine the air filter was PUT IN BACKWARDS! Left with nary an apology, and a week later, car begins running erratically again. Lost a weekend of car use as we need to wait until today (a Monday) to get the car in for service at another business. The diagnosis? Again...the air filter was PUT IN BACKWARDS! Call today and cant even begin to describe the ridiculous nature of how this has been handled. My suggestion is simply not to shop here. No matter the price or convenience, the ineptitude of the staff is simple beyond description.

I live in the neighborhood that sits right next to walmart. Ever since walmart came, we have seen a drastic increase in crime. My cars have been broken into 6 times this last year. Im not alone there are a lot of neighbors, with a lot of car break ins. The crimes is mostly breaking into cars to steal anything of value... cell phones, laptops, gps, instruments - the list goes on and on. We have all learned: If you accidentally forget something in your car overnight, it WILL be gone in the morning...STOLEN. Every morning our nieghborhood waked up to kirklands farm beer (sold at walmart) bottles all over our frontlawns. We see people who look Like the stereotypical gangster, mulling around and loitering in our neighborhood... None of these things were occurring before Walmart came along. The fact is in cities across america people are finding out that with the consumer traffic to comes to 24/7 walmart, also comes increased crime. Dont let Walmart move into your area!!

The store itself can be lacking cashiers a lot of the time, but I will never use their pharmacy again. I was going home from having my knee replaced and went through the drive thru to drop of the prescriptions. At 1:15 they said they would be ready at 2:00. At 2:15 I showed up and they didnt know what scripts i was talking about. After they found them they told me I needed to wait 10 more minutes. Then, 5 minutes later, they told me they had to come in to get them. After watching 6 people in the pharmacy not helping any of the 4 people in line, they finally told me they had to contact the doc for clarification. If they had looked at the scripts when I dropped them off, I wouldnt have been still waiting in the car when my pain meds wore off 2 hours after I dropped off the scrips. Needless to say, I will be changing pharmacies.

Terrible customer service. I waited 20 to 25 minutes at the jewelry counter simply to ask about a watch battery. Requested help from two different cashiers no one came. I finally found an assistant manager and explained to him what was happening. His response was they couldnt help me if I didnt buy the watch at Walmart...no Im sorry for your wait or anything! After this response he simply walked away. I went to the service desk and waited for the store manager above him. Again, I waited a least 10 minutes before I was approached by a new manager. He was very apologetic and even attempted to replace that battery for free. End of story....I walked away after wasting a hour of my life. I should have known better than shopping here. NEVER AGAIN!
