We needed one of those super long french bread loaves cut into 4 pieces and in half so that we could make french bread pizza with it. We figured that since we were in the store and we didnt own a bread knife, we could ask one of the employees in the bakery to please cut for us. I assumed they would since even Dominicks will extend this courtesy to customers. Unfortunately, the shrewd looking young lady in the bakery said no. Why no? Dont have a bread knife in the bakery? Well, due to Miss Cranky, we left our cart of groceries right by her precious bakery and went next door to Meijer. I hate rude employees more than I hate toe fungus. If any management is reading this, this happened on November 7th between the 4-5 pm hour.

We came for the optometrist. My daughter is 4 and starting Kindergarten in August. We came here for and eye exam since it was the only location that had a last minute appointment. In hindsight Im glad we procrastinated. Their optometrist was amazing with my daughter and made the experience very comfortable and r we will make the drive back annually as long as she remains there. After the exam we did some light shopping and the store was the usual layout for a super target. It was very clean and I didnt see a lot of the clothing on the floor clearence area clutter that some targets seem to suffer from. I wish the South Barrington Target were even 2/3 as nice as this one.

As far as layout of the store goes, I like the one in Crystal Lake better. I spent a good amount if time the other day looking for something that I typically find by the artwork department but in this store it was on the other side of the store. I was surprised that the proximity was so radically different and I figured they just didnt have those items at this store and almost walked out after a very frustrating look around. I finally found what I was looking for but would have liked to wring the neck of the people that designed the layout of this store. It just didnt make sense.

Overall the staff were all very friendly but I was very disappointed in the produce selection. Most of the tables I went to had very old and wilted produce. At one point I found a bag of lettuce that was so old it was more liquid than lettuce anymore. Other than that I found the remaining store up to regular Target standards. It was clean, full of polite customers and employees. I was able to find everything I needed.

This is a super Target with a Starbucks so I can ship for hours lol. It has groceries in addition to Targets other stock of home, sports and clothes etc. There is a wide selection of items. Add to your savings if youd like by getting the Target Cartwheel app. It has offers and coupons that can be applied at checkout. Clean store, loads of lanes, a food court and photo center. One stop shop.

Many thanks to the quick thinking associates who came to my aid during a severe low blood sugar episode last Friday afternoon. Im sorry not to have gotten their names, but the associate in the Optical Dept. was one, perhaps shell know and thank the other two or three for me. I sincerely appreciate everyones assistance. Seriously the last time I was here this place looked like it was going out of business. The shelves were empty, the place was a mess, there were nk employees anywhere. There were 2 cashiers and about 20 people waiting in line. Target has just gone down hill recently ... especially this one.

They never have sale items stocked & "cartwheel" is a joke. Cartwheel discounts never get credited at register - gotta goto cust service & they have to manually calculate the cartwheel discount & actually see the items. I will quit target completely!

Always clean lots of employees. The only real downfall is the lack of open registers usually, I will give them that when they have them they will bring over other employees to help but that isnt always the case.

If I have to drive 15 miles to get the brand of pasta sauce I like, I could do a lot worse than the Super Target on Randall. Its clean and bright, which is exactly what i want from a big box store.
