Is there a way to enter zero stars? I didnt think to leave a review at the time; however shopping around to replace the Ugg boats I bought my wife last year, I happen to come back across Shoe Lace Inc. and chuckled to myself. I truly thought I was the only one to have been treated in such a manner. For those that have not read the previous reviews, save your self your time, money and sanity. Once youve spent your money with these people you will soon find they were nothing but wolves in sheeps wool. Theyre extremely polite to you and do what they can to serve you until youve made your purchase; however, pray you dont have an issue as I did. My daughter was complaining of dampness in her shoe and I dismissed her as the boot is suppose to be water proof. I decided to give her a hard time and told her she didnt know how to wear them properly and she wasnt having it. I put my hand in the boot and found it was damp. She hadnt worn the boots long and the times she did wear them she treated them like gold. No scuffs or marks besides the ones you would expect on the bottom of the boot. As I mentioned at the beginning of my review, I chuckled to myself... for my next thought couldnt have been further from the truth. I told my daughter that wed simply exchange the boots at the store, they should be understanding. Not only were they not understanding, but out right rude and dare I say it, lazy. The impression I received was they didnt want to do any leg work. I simply asked to exchange the boots as theyre obviously defective and my reply was that would be impossible, "theyre uggs." "Theyre Uggs," I retorted, what does that have to do with anything. Lemons exist with all products and I have a lemon I exclaimed. After a brief, but exhausting runaround with the gal behind the register I asked to speak with the manager, she claimed to be the manager. After my initial shock, I simply asked for the owner. I was told the owner doesnt speak with customers..... He doesnt speak to his customers, I asked; how has the worked for him so far I? The gal behind the register said, Im sorry but there is nothing we can do. I mean this woman didnt, no wouldnt take my information and wouldnt give me the owners information. She didnt provide me with any options, seeing this was her chosen profession youd think she would have some recourse for us unfortunate few; however, this was not the case. I decided to contact Uggs and was promptly greeted with respect and provided an exchange. I couldnt believe the difference in attitude and service. Uggs explained that "these things happen," and understood my issue and explained that a new pair would be on their way. So the moral of the story here folks is A.) DO NOT SHOP AT SHOE LACE INC. unless your in the mood to raise your blood pressure and B.) If you decide to forgo my warning and the others that have commented here then contact the manufacturer if you should run into any issues with your purchase because Shoe Lace Inc is no help at all! I DO NOT / CAN NOT RECOMMEND SHOE LACE INC. I WILL BOYCOTT THEYRE STORE IN HOPES OTHERS FOLLOW SUIT AND THEY SIMPLY GO AWAY....

Dont go!!!!! I went there today - and there were three sales clerks on the floor - one immature girl snickered when I walked in and commented to my husband on shoes my daughter often wears - not sure the reason for this - but then she proceeded to the other immature sales girl and they both snickered - not sure again why - so i left the store - telling the other sales clerk - a man - that it was the one in the orange with an issue - I have often bought Danskos at this store - pricey but good selection - I will NEVER go back there and I encourage all to heed this warning - online provides the same selection without the attitude. Dont go!!!!!

What a relief, knowledgeable staff and great selection! We spend most all of our shoebudget at Shoe Lace Inc. The first time we went there we found the owner to be well versed in his product line and on subsequent visits we also found the associates to able to listen to our requirements and from that conversation produce a show that met them. What a great family owned business providing jobs in our neighborhood. Wish they carried more mens shoes. We will continue to shop there. Thanks, ShoeMan youre the best!!!

The staff was polite and helpful. I purchased a 172.00 pair of naot Sandler b and two days later a strap broke. They took care of my refund with no hassle. Ill be back!
