My wife was having a lot of foot pain after many years as a server. We went in and they used a device to see the hot spots of the feet and combined with their personal knowledge of the feet and this device they made recommendations. With in a week my wife went from barely able to walk after a shift to walking without a limp. 3 weeks later her pain has all but disappeared. We never would have picked the type of shoe that was recommended however after buying shoes for the last 3 years on line, we realized there is more than just style and tread that should go into buying shoes especially if you stand for more than 6 hours a day. I would highly recommend what they call the "sit and fit" service. We were personally waited on for over an hour as the right shoe and insert was combined to made the right comfort and support. I will be heading back for the same service as am in the outdoors a lot and will be looking for that perfect hiking/walking boot.

I went to Achieve Footwear & New Balance because I was having trouble with my feet when I walked. I didnt believe that good shoes made that much difference...was I WRONG!!! The people at this store assessed my problem, choose an appropriate orthotic and got me into the correct shoe in the correct size and I cannot believe how much better my feet did immediately!! I will never go back to off the rack shoes with no guidance. I will always buy from this store! The now their stuff! And their prices are as good as Amazon!!!

This store rarely has any shoes in size 12. They say they can order it and have it for me in TWO WEEKS. I could make the shoes myself in less time. Nice people, but low stock.
