I went to get a tattoo on a whim. My friend wanted one on Sat night, so I obliged and went to get one with her. We looked around and contacted about 5 stores that were all closed, and I am grateful for that. The girl at the front was EXTREMELY helpful, and they gave us exactly what we wanted. She even took the time to draw up the tattoo the met my friends expectations, and the girl drawing them up was not even a tattoo artist. Although my tattoo is very new, I could see quality right away (much better than my other two. It looked 100 times better than I expected, and was glad he added to it to make it original. The tat came out crisp , exquisite and VERY on point. The colors he did topped it off. I already have two tats and I plan on him inking me again, and Im looking forward to it. Although, Ive only been there once, I plan on him adding to, and fixing my other art that was sub par. Oh, and I have to mention how clean the place was. I was very happy to see how much he cleaned the work space after each tattoo. Ive worked in two hospitals, and I think the work spaces are probably pretty close to hospital standards. I will plan on referring them to others, since Jimmy M. did a far superior job than my other two artists. I felt very comfortable there, and the customer service was far beyond my expectations. .

Chris was the tattoo artist. He was rude even thought I waited over an hour for him to show up for his shift. When he couldnt figure out the email in which I sent my tattoo that I wanted, I told him I could fix it, but instead he spend another 15 minutes just refreshing email. When he finally relented, I downloaded it and fixed the email in less the 5 minutes. My actual tattoo took about 15 minutes. When my friend was on his phone, he yelled at my friend, WHILE in the middle of completing my tat because he thought my friend was recording him. When my tat was done, he told me to get out of his chair. This was my second tattoo ever and tats are SUPPOSED to be an expierence that is positive. I am never coming back here mainly because of this artist treating me and my friend like we were below his time.

After relocating to Chicago area, Ive been desperate to find a replacement for my beloved piercing shop that Ive been visiting for over 15 years. I did my homework and found Brent B at Rising Phoenix. He was awesome. He was super polite, patient and answered all my questions. Very sterile environment, using only the highest quality jewelry is what drew me to the shop. If youre looking for the cheapest place, hes probably not your guy. You get what you pay for and youre going to have this jewelry for years to come, so go with the good stuff the first time and save yourself the headache later. Brent was professional yet very real and offered his honest opinions which I truly appreciate. Im super happy to have a shop and piercer in my new hometown!

Walked in at about 12PM to get a tattoo estimate for my girlfriend and I. Appointment was at 730PM, but didnt get work done until about 830PM, not a big deal though we just watched a movie and ate dinner in the shop. Everyone is very friendly and the owner is a funny and very loud guy! The work was beautiful so my girlfriend decided to get a Monroe piercing as well. Great job on everything overall and very easy location to find. The Google maps is wrong, its right across the street from Taco Bell in Addison, down near Mill Road. I would recommend this place for your first tattoo if thats what youre looking for.

Went into Rising Phoenix to get a piercing (tragus). Ruben immediately asked how he could help and started the process right away. He was super professional, efficient and funny. Made me feel at ease about the piercing and didnt "sugar coat" anything for me. After the quick piercing, he thoroughly explained the piercing after-care instructions and sent me on my way. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. The gentlemen at Rising Phoenix were real pros - funny too. I looked at the artwork that the tattoo artists were doing and was really impressed with the quality.

Just got my cartilage pierced with Brent and he was so so awesome. Such a nice guy, extremely professional, and very calming. I have had a lot of piercings in my day and I have to say this was one of the top experiences. This place is also very sanitary, only thing I would say is its expensive however I believe theres a reason places like this are more expensive than others and thats bc of quality. So if youre debating def check this place out, talk to Brent about which piercing you want done and he will inform you on what you need to know!! In closing def would come back here

I had gotten my first tattoo here years ago and came back. I had David and he was fabric, quick and like everyone spelling there made sure what I wanted was correct, that I was comfortable. Prolong was reasonable. He was able to fit me in as a walk in. I had Brent G a few days later and loved his bedside manner. He kept me laughing, I have a high pain tolerance but I literally felt nothing when he was tattooing. He also kept me laughing and in a happy mood so my dopamine levels were higher which helped a lot. I will definitely be coming back for more of my tattoos!

I walked in on short notice wanting an a small tattoo of an eye and water waves I looked through some books found what I wanted and the guy was able to do it and made it look awesome with some shadowing. The place was very clean, the guys were professional considering the location of my tattoo, and the price wasnt bad either! I would highly recommend this place considering this was my first time ever getting a tattoo. I will be going back for my second tattoo in a few months, I wouldnt go anywhere else now that I have found this place.

Brent was fantastic, I couldnt have had a better piercing experience. I want nervous, but it was cool when he said, "after I set it, you are totally in control, I wont surprise you, and we are ready when you are." His overall demeanor was very calm, he explained everything up front, and answered any questions I had. The place was very clean and relaxing - everyone was very friendly. I dont really get piercings, so it was so relieving to have such a wonderful experience.

went here for my first tattoo and the staff were really understanding and there for you. Omar did my Tattoo and I absolutely loved the results it looks very feminine and beautiful. the quality is amazing, the space is great and the shop is very clean and sterile from what I personally saw. The price was really great its definitely not over priced. Friendly and attentive definitely great people and amazing tattoo artist

Beware if you make an appointment. If you want to cancel, you will not get a refund. I made an appointment on a Saturday for the following Saturday. I tried to cancel the very next day and they refused to refund my deposit saying the artist already drew my tattoo. When in fact he told me when I made the appt that it would take him about an hour to draw the tattoo....the day of my apportionment. Crooks. Stay away.
