I visited this store at about 5:30pm on 9/05/2014 and asked an employee, (The woman was white and looked to be middle aged), about the kinds of sales the store may have from time to time. She replied, "The only sale we have is on black Friday-- we may put a few books outside. We are not really into sales, because our books are already priced low." Now the way she said this to me was not very helpful at all. She did not care to know my interest in any particular book and she did not seem to care to wow me as my family and I were the only customers in the store at that particular moment. She stayed behind the counter and was very preoccupied. I got a cocky aire from her as if I offended her. When my family and I left the store we did not know what to think of the service we got. I am sure that there were friendlier ways to discuss the stores promotions. I mean goodness, every store has some kind of customer appreciation sale, rewards card, buy back plan or some other service or deal that customers would love knowing! Depending on who you ask their books are not all that reasonably priced especially when you compare it to other used book stores my family and I have frequented! I could go to the Goodwill and buy the same adult books for less than $2.00 each! Truthfully, I did not expect to pay prices that are that low in this store, but to say that their prices are already low is an overstatement. What she said was totally beyond anything I would have ever imagined hearing! I guess that is why their shelves are so packed with books because they dont sell much of them at all.

Every book store has books, and most of them have employees. But this bookstore has a great selection of books at great prices, and the service is outstanding! Unlike Borders or Barnes and Nobles, the employees actually seem HAPPY to help you out!!!! Theres no place like it, so just go already!!!! Plus, if you go on the right day, you might find the owners dog in the store, which is always an added treat!

Great small store to find cheap reads to keep you cool through the summer or warm in the winter. They usually have a special for school summer reading. Dont have everything (it is a used bookstore), nice and quiet, just wish that the genre signs were a little easy to read but thats it. I dont know why people are so annoyed that they arent greeted when they enter the store, its a bookstore not a Moes..

This is the only book store around for 7 miles!! Its awesome having a small bookstore thrive in our community. Everyone is really nice there and they let you trade in books and get half off on new books with store credit. Its funny how a borders opened up next door a few years ago and went out of business and read it again is still here!

Store is very small, cramped and very hard to fund genres. The genres are barely labeled with time chalk boards hanging. All the books are stamped with their information. As a book collector this made me cringe. Also they were overpriced for used books. I get better deals and a lot more choices a few miles away.

Great to have middle and high school reading list books in stock. Great staff and selection of local authors, non-fiction, children and young adult choices, and historical romance for me! Nice card and gift selection too! Love the location. Thanks for being here!

This is an excellent small secondhand bookstore with a great atmosphere - no trace of that corporate vibe thats infected most other bookstores in the area. Their employee Tanner was super friendly and genuinely passionate about reading.

Excellent bookstore! New or old titles at very reasonable prices Friendly staff, you walk in and feel like youve known them for years. Its nice to find a bookstore thats actually a bookstore and not a coffee shop.

I have visited this store for years and have yet to be greeted, spoken to, helped, or given anything but one word answers to my questions. Almost a game now when visiting Staples or Michaels. Just rude.
