Refused assistance to me without hearing my situation the first time. Later informed me I MUST have specifically been physically assaulted within the past month by abuser to be eligible for help. This review is about the shelter. Thrift store was fine when I volunteered there. Havent been in a while.

This place is great. Tony, the manager/sales person/everything else that needs to be done, does a great job of running the place. If you are looking for a bargain on furniture or clothing, check this place out. Much better than the Good Will.

We at Julianas Furniture Galleries donate to New Beginnings. We are very happy to see the furniture that is donated going to people who need it. It is not a large thrift store but the folks working there seem to be doing good work.
