The customer service at this Goodwill location has received mixed reviews. Some customers have praised the store for its cleanliness and well-organized layout. However, others have reported issues with the staff's attitude and responsiveness. For example, one customer mentioned that they were put on hold when inquiring about adult bicycles and felt that the phone etiquette was lacking.
Donating items at this Goodwill location generally receives positive feedback. Customers have mentioned that the staff assisting with donations are courteous and efficient. However, there have been instances where donors felt disrespected. One such case involved a donor who was asked to wait outside while the staff were unloading a truck, which they found to be rude.
The store is often described as clean and well-organized. The layout makes it easy for customers to find what they are looking for. However, some customers have mentioned that the store could improve its lighting to make the shopping experience more pleasant.
The quality of items available at this Goodwill location is generally considered good. However, the pricing strategy has been criticized. Some customers find the prices to be inconsistent, with some items being overpriced compared to their original retail value. For example, a shirt from a low-cost brand being priced the same as one from a more expensive brand.
Staff behavior has been a point of contention among customers. While some find the staff to be friendly and helpful, others have had less than pleasant experiences. Issues range from staff rudeness to managerial decisions that customers found to be unreasonable. For instance, a customer mentioned that the assistant manager was not willing to make an exception to the store's pricing policy even in an emergency situation.

I typically do not have any issues when I visit this Goodwill store. However, I needed a pair of youth crutches for an emergency that happened the night before for an 8 year old girl that tore all of tendons in her foot. I found a pair of crutches and took them to the front to purchase. The cashier which I found out later was the "assistant manager" informed me that I could not purchase the crutches due to it not having a price label. She come up with some technical excuse stating that the the item was out of compliance and would have to be ran back through the pricing process and I could not purchase them. I explained to her my situation and she was not empathetic or sympathetic about the young girls injured foot. That is when I asked for a manager and she informed me that she was the assistant manager and she was adamant that I could not get the crutches there and then. She said she didnt know when but it would be much later. After "arguing back and forth for a few minutes and explaining my desperation, she finally gave in and sold me the crutches. I was not a happy or satisfied shopper at this point. This lady does not deserve a management position, she needs to understand when exceptions can be made to the policies. This situation definitely deserved to be the exception.

I have gone to this Goodwill several times since it has opened. If you are donating, the guys are AWESOME. They are very curtious and very fast with helping you drop off your items. If you are shopping, the store has always been very clean, layed out well and they have great selections for every size. The managers walk around the store and will always ask if they can help you. On Sundays they change the colors--if you go Saturday afternoons, a mojority of the 50% off color will be gone--so keep that in mind. They only complaint I have with this store is 3 of the times I have gone, I have been double charged--the woman rang me up twice for one item. So, just pay attention when checking out. If you think there has been a mistake, just point it out--I have had one person get a poor attitude for having to correct herself, but the others have been great. Overall, good store and I will definately continue to shop there regarless of what a "bigtitties" claims. (PS--totally agree with the response. Self respect--Learn it, Live with it.)

I just called around 1pm to see if they had any adult bicycles before I spent money on Uber to get there. First ring, no answer. Second try, rings twice and the other end hangs up. Cant really say the third try was a charm because when my call was finally answered, her phone skills were poorly lacking. I was on hold for a sec, while she checked, but was told that although they had bikes she couldnt check which kinds because she was at the register and blah blah. So I asked her to have someone else check for me, as her common sense should have deduced to do in the first place. Only reason this store gets two stars is because of the second gentleman who actually helped me. I used to work at a Goodwill, and being busy or having ones hands full is no excuse for poor customer service and terrible phone etiquette. Never been in this store and wanted to check it out, but having read other reviews and experienced a preview of their "customer service", I think Ill pass.

Prices can be a seal, decent, or far too much. Really just depends on the item and brand. A $5 American Eagle shirt is a deal. $5 for a shirt that cost $2 originally at Walmart is not. Always check clothes for stains. Ive seen plenty of shirts and pants with visible stains put out. Shorter length pants for adults also often end up in the childrens section or for mens pants, sometimes in the womens section as well. The building itself is generally very clean, but the lighting could use work. It gives it a somewhat drab feeling. Staff are friendly. Wait time for dressing rooms can wildly vary, but dressing rooms themselves are spacious and typically clean. They also have a public restroom in the back of the store. All section signs are in English and Spanish.

I love going to Goodwill and have been to many stores where the store is horrible. I have mixed reviews of this goodwill. I like the store setup, everything is easy to find. I prefer the Powder springs or Rome goodwill but Hiram is closer. However the reason why I rated 2 is due to management.... Ive had to talk to them at least 3 times and they are sooooo RUDE. I hope they read these and see how many people go out of their way to let others know how rude they are. The bigger black woman is THE rudest of them all, The employees are at least nice but they never can answer any questions....

First visit to this place and i wont return. I went here with an energy drink in my hand. I walked in and immediately got yeld at about having a drink in my hand. There are no signs posted that you can not have a drink and the lady was quite rude the way she spoke to me. I was not the only one who noticed either. Several others left this place either cause of what they over heard or cause of the condition of the store. I was told it smelled extremely bad and that the bathrooms where dirty and the toilet seats were sticky.

When I went to drop my donations off at the Hiram location there was a line. So myself and another person donating walked to the sliding door when we were rudely asked to wait outside. All I wanted was to grab a cart and leave my donations because they were helping unload a truck full of furniture. Long story story short they are rude to people who are trying to help them keep a job. I could have easily sold my items in a yard sale. I will continue to donate but would appreciate a little more respect.

The quality of the stuff is actually very nice here, the problem though is the pricing. Their stuff here though can be quite expensive at times because they are renting a really nice building that used to be a Circuit City and only opened a year after the building was built. Everything you can find in here though, they look for quality here, and not sell trash like they do in other stores Ive been in... The service can be quite poor at times with only one associates line being open at one time...

Very rude store manager. Cashier did not give my mom senior citizens discount. Store manager REFUSED to fix and refund difference. Extremely unfriendly and arrogant. Will not return to this location. Made us feel horrible and belittled. Almost had my elderly mother in tears over $5.00. We were stunned by his behavior and aggression. Do not shop this location. Better location with friendlier people at East-West Connector and Powder Springs Road.

The staff are rude and approached my child telling him to go find his parent. I was standing right there. Then she wanted to repeat herself to me as if I didnt hear her the first time. She was upset that he was playing with a toy on the toy aisle. We frequent the Goodwill and spend a good bit of money there but today I left my cart fill full of stuff sitting there in the store. I will think twice before I go back to that location.
